Anacosta Heights

Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Archer Faxfair
470 years - Fae - Male - Hawethorn Village

Archer likes her. She seemed kind and had a humor that, despite being a bit pained, still shined through. It took the edge off and made the pair become more familiar with one another. Although he had met her perhaps an hour before, he already had begun to trust her. That was part of his problem. He was too human, too trusting. Too noble. The perfect knight that Blaise had pegged him to be. It would blow up in his face but Archer was so starved for companionship that he found himself unable and unwilling to pull away from the first real contact with another he had had in forever. It didn't hurt that Blaise was lovely. "There are more pro's than con's," he answers back with a wide grin, chuckling at her words before finishing his minstrations.

She goes quiet after his rather solemn speech. What was she comparing it to? It tickled at the back of his head that she was likely from a deep fae family and that she knew exactly what he meant, thereby reminding him of the very thing he was trying to avoid. His eyes scour her face, looking for a hint of something, but he can only see contemplation on the lines of her face. He has no knowledge of what it is she worries about or thinks about. Part of him wants to press his thumb against her forehead and rub away the thoughts that bother her. If only he knew what she had already been through and just how more world weary she was than himself. He was still a child in the fae world and he had made himself that way by choosing to be remote.

If only he knew the plans she had for him.

Her giggle is met with a deep chuckle of his own and he pushes himself up to plop onto the couch next to her but doesn't dispute her claim that he was avoiding it. In fact he was quite comfortable on the floor because he could see her face. Trust was an issue that, despite him overlooking, he still subconciously dealt with. "Little, perhaps, and a babe, but not a baby." He tilts his head slightly in a mock thoughtful manner before grinning again. "A proposition?" Now he frowns a bit, eyebrows coming down as he stares at her, uncertain where this is going. Part of him, having just flirted, latches onto the word proposition and his body burns with desire yet Blaise had given him few hints as to the actual meaning of what she meant.

"I'm all ears."
