Anacosta Heights

Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

Amelia listened to him as he talked about how he planned to proof their house for unwanted guests. She would have to figure out how to keep them away when she left the house. The thought of being cooped up in her own house for the duration of her pregnancy would simply drive her nuts. She knew Troy probably wouldn't want her to leave the house, but she would still have to get on with her life. She couldn't just sit back and wait for something bad to happen.

As she stood in front of the mirror, brushing through her hair, she looked up at the mirror to watch as Troy came to stand behind her. She felt his hands travel along her arms, his lips leaving a hot trail of kisses along her back. She let her eyes flutter closed as she enjoyed the sensations that he gave her.

Setting the brush back down on the counter, she slowly turned so she could wrap her arms around Troy. Leaning forward, she pressed her lips to his, taking him into a passionate kiss. She wasn't sure how to thank him for everything he had done and will do for her and their baby. How could she repay him for such things? She wasn't even sure where to begin. "You've made mine so much brighter. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." She couldn't remember a time when she had felt so complete. She'd been living on this earth for longer than 600 years and this was the first time she truly felt...happy.

Eyes traveled along his chest and slowly up his body to meet his own gaze. She let her fingers play in the hair on the back of his head, drawing lazy circles. "I love you, Troy...more than anything." Her words were true as she leaned in to kiss him again. This time, her kiss was soft but it lingered there. Her body pressed towards his as she relished the feeling of him holding her close. She felt peaceful here...like nothing bad could ever happen to her or their baby. It felt right.
