Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

you could rattle the stars.
you could do anything,
if only you dared

Vhalla offers a small painful smile in regards to Tetradore's assurance he was in no rush to do something with the apartment. Still, the assassin would be sad to see it go, not have the ability to find comfort here as she once did. Heaving a sigh, she pushes the hair from her face, dusting more of the dirt from her legs as Tet's voice draws those blue eyes of hers back to his face. Tilting her head at him, the assassin gives a small nod and before he can say much of anything else, she pads barefooted down the hallway and pushes the door to the laundry room open. There's an obnoxious groaning noise that emits from the hinges that has Vhalla wincing at the sound. Perhaps she would add that to her list of things to do too.

Quickly, she leans up on her toes and shuffles through the cabinets before grasping the toolkit and pulling it from its hiding spot. The bright red kit has Vhalla snorting with amusement before she's walking back down the hallway and dropping off the metal kit on the ground next to the broken cabinet. Sighing, she turns back to the man before her noting the way his eyes take on an incredulous look as he glances at the sofa. Cringing, she explains and apologizes before making her way to the window, allowing the cool air to caress her skin. Breathing in the fresh air, she leans her head against the window frame speaking to him all the while.

When he accepts her apologies, Vhalla simply gives him a short nod before turning and leaning her back against the windowsill, arms crossed over her chest. Watching that brow of his raise on his face has an almost smile dancing upon her lips. That small bit of humor that so graced her for a moment, vanishes as Tet asks her why she was upset. Tightening her fingers on her arms, she looks away while a blush slowly creeps up her neck and blooms on her cheeks. Sucking her lower lip into her mouth she chews on it nervously, suddenly very preoccupied with the floor. As much as she would like to ignore him and hope that he would simply leave, perhaps even change the subject, the assassin felt it was pointless to try and run from it more than she already had.

Heaving a sigh, she makes a split-second decision and releases her lower lip from her teeth, turning her gaze onto Tetradore. "I don't know why and I can hardly understand the why of it, but somewhere along the lines of whatever this-," she quickly gestures towards Tetradore, "is, I've started to have feelings that I haven't had in a long time and some feelings I've never had," she says quietly, her blush continuously darkening upon her pale skin. "Honestly Tet, I was sexually frustrated," she admits, looking away from him towards the floor, her fingers continuing to dig painfully in her arms, "I didn't know what I was feeling at first or even why. I was embarrassed that you rejected me," she winces at that truth she allowed herself to share with him.

"I reacted poorly, I reverted back to the type of person I project myself to be to keep others at a distance. I thought it would have been easier to get you to hate me rather than face the facts," she shrugs, finally managing to get her embarrassment under control enough to peek up at Tetradore. Giving a slight grimace, she shrugs her shoulders, "Now you know, do your worse."
