Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

The Englishman was well aware of the weight of all those worries that so rested upon the fae King's shoulders. It was near monumental, those tasks that lay ahead of him to not only keep that hold upon that Italian throne that had been his for far longer then that President had or ever would be alive - to that very call to so defend their own relationship. Though he knew well that the difficult situation his lover was placed within was hardly his fault, Sebastian could hardly help the guilt that the President was using him to get to the fae in far more ways than even Dorian was truly aware of. If there was any fashion in which the vampire was capable of assisting his lover, he surely would have done so without a moment's hesitation. It was, however, with some measure of discontent that even Sebastian was willing to admit that a call to the parliamentarians held far greater weight when it came from the King than the ruling Monarch's favored Consort. It was perhaps, that in mind which surely contributed to Sebastian's readiness to engage in such antics as this - ones that were certainly silly and near meaningless, not that he would not have anyways but, this was exactly how he had always been capable of helping the man he loved. If nothing else, he would provide him that reprieve his lover not only sought but surely desperately needed.

It was only with that magazine in hand that Sebastian found himself rather over dramatically suggesting his concern for his lover's utter failure to get those measly five points had been a far greater concern of his then it actually had. Dorian himself, however, seemed almost keen to simply roll his eyes in a fashion that wholly disregarded his fretting. The nerve! Even so, he could hardly help the chuckle upon his lips as his blue eyes turned towards that page he held in his hands, reading the first question only to find his lover's lips pressing with such a delicate and wholly teasing fashion upon his neck that his whole skin nearly felt alive. That simple touch was entirely distracting, near stopping the vampire mid-sentence only to answer that inquiry on his own as Dorian pulled away with a near impish comment. He could hardly help that snort from his nose and yet, truly, Sebastian had little difficulty in putting down that magazine and turning that evening of carefree fun into something else entirely. That is, if Dorian wished to go without the knowledge of weather or not Girlfriend magazine declared him Dorian's true soul mate. That near thread, however, seemed enough to make the King reconsider those entirely arousing antics (because even Sebastian would have been lying to say he had not already thought of all those other places he might have enjoyed to feel Dorian's lips).

It was in those moments after his lover's regretful acceptance of that quiz that the vampire saw fit to point out that inaccuracy of the King's own age. He watched as Dorian's gaze attentively turned back towards that magazine, that frown upon the man's features near adorable, given that concern for how significantly older he had unknowingly become. A soft chuckle left his lips as Dorian accepted that, perhaps, the article's claims required some...mending, of sorts. That mention of that technicality, however, only served to cause the vampire to frown in his own hint of consideration. "If you get to choose twenty-two, does that mean I can inform them that I technically died in my twenties and that age should be printed instead?" He inquired, his head tilting to the side. After all, it was hardly fair if Dorian was given the chance to forever remain twenty-two and he was stuck with the number two hundred near haunting him! That huff that left the King's lips caused his own to twitch in amusement, much less that near weary gaze he so provided that magazine and yet, the vampire was entirely willing to return to this quiz to judge his own love for the fae.

That sudden shift of the man against his chest drew his gaze as Dorian's finger pointed towards a question further on in that quiz. That fateful 'middle name' question - the singular one that rewarded the King his final point and also, quite unfortunately, was wrong on Dorian's own quiz. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly at that answer before his head bobbed ever so slightly. "It is." He admitted, almost thankful that 'Valerie' was incorrect. His gaze shifted to meet those silver eyes, that small smile still dancing upon his features at that laughter that left the King's lips. "I think Valerio is significantly less girly, my love. I think you're safe." He commented with a hint of amusement even in those reassuring lyrics. The man's comment that he hardly should give up now, however, caused his gaze to turn back towards that magazine only for Sebastian's eyes to fall upon the question directly after that middle name one. He'd certainly skipped a few and yet, he knew this one. "Oh look - what is Dorian's ideal first date. Movies, Concert, or Gallery. That one is easy, though truly I can't even imagine you at a concert or the movies. Did Samantha ever take you to either of them?" He inquired, altogether inquisitive now. Such venues, he was assured, had been that young woman's scene vastly more than they had ever been his own.

That idle inquiry, however, was distracted only as his gaze turned back towards where he had originally left off, that favorite song. His own answer to it had been near laughable and yet, the one that rested on Dorian's page was possibly equally as rediculous. He was fairly certain Dorian's knowledge of music was rather limited to what the vampire himself had subjected his lover too - most of which simply did not include those more modern pop songs. That wasn't to say he was utterly against them in any way, they simply weren't the kind of things that littered his musical library quite like those classical works of art. "Dorian, do you even know the song Fireflies by Owl City? Did you know this was your favorite song? Please tell me it isn't, I might be disappointed in you." After all those pieces by Chopin and Verdi and Vivaldi - to be bested by Owl City?! It was an utter letdown. Though the vampire himself was not as utterly genuine as he appeared in that moment, he was quite determined to provide Dorian with nothing short of a straight face and pursed lips as he announced, "I don't think I can be your true love anymore after this." Because, apparently, Dorian's favorite song was of paramount importance to their relationship.
