Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He had hardly anticipated that announcement several days ago that his lover so intended to return to England. Dorian assured Sebastian had made no mention of such plans prior to that sudden declaration and yet, when so pressed upon why exactly he need return with such earnest to his homeland the vampire had been dreadfully obscure. Still, the very notion that his boyfriend might so abandon him for several days, if not a week, to undertaken such business had readily seen the Monarch take up that offer to accompany him. The mere two days they had spent apart when he himself travelled across the state to meet that parliamentarian had been torturous for them both. Dorian utterly unwilling to be parted from him again. The King assured he would not get but even a wink of sleep without Sebastian there beside him as he was each night. It was upon the utter insistence of his PA that Dorian so took at least a small portion of his work with him, the Monarch content to busy himself with those emails during that flight and once his utter curiosity for that plane had been met. The man still content to find that miracle of flight utterly unbelievable. It was that arrival within Manchester late last night however that had prompted that first moment of confusion within the man. This airport was hardly the same as Heathrow. Dorian so momentarily assured they had simply gotten off that plane at the wrong stop. After all, surely they were going to Belton? The Fae's query upon just that met with vagueness once more before Sebastian simply refused to tell him where they were going!

How such curiosity might plague him! Dorian so notoriously hopeless when it came to surprises of any kind. The man's natural desire to know so assuring that utter barrage of questions the vampire so easily dodged and deflected. How maddening this was! Yet too, how terribly exciting all at once. Dorian so caught in between that wonderment and curiosity and too the simple enjoyment of just what they might be doing. The man whom had so come to collect them at the airport was utterly unknown to him, the darkness of the night assuring there was little Dorian was so able to glean about just where they were for much of that drive, let alone where it was they were going. He had known, surely, of Sebastian's estates and yet this was one they had not visited at all the last time they had been within England. The lateness of the hour so hid those gardens from view, Dorian so holding little idea of any of the splendour that existed within them and yet for that moment at least the Monarch was utterly content to admire that home itself. Ah, but how he adored Sebastian's estates! While there was surely much that was aged and exquisite amongst the palaces and homes he himself owned within Italy and its surrounds there was a distinct charm to those English houses that Dorian had simply come to love.

It was perhaps some small relief that, shortly after they had settled, Sebastian had so permitted him to at least explore that grand home even if he was utterly forbidden from going outside or peering out of those thickened curtains. The Monarch busying himself with wandering that house as Sebastian stepped away to attend to his own business with the promise he would not be long. That home was nothing short of exquisite, Dorian speaking with several of those staff members about it's history before so attempting to query them on what was outside. Those beings perfectly polite in their responses and yet as vague as their Master. Dorian frowning lightly before that touch of amusement so found his features. Sebastian so evidently having prepared those staff for his own questions. How well his lover knew him! That soft chuckle hummed from within his throat as he at last returned to that lavish bedroom once more, the King so willing to admit defeat in his curiosity for this evening alone before so at last tumbling in to bed beside his lover. It was wholly curious, that request for the use of his own power that Sebastian made. His lover never once before having asked it off him and yet, that come the morning they might venture outside, together, was a possibility that was nothing short of delightful. Dorian more than willing to indulge his Consort in such a request come the morning.

How readily he had forgotten the struggles of rising within the day, even his veritable excitement for the events it surely held did little to diminish his want to snuggle back beneath those blankets and into sleep. The Monarch content to doze for several moments longer before at last pulling himself from the warmth of that bed to head downstairs and assist the staff in preparing that required tea so stirred through with his own blood. It was curious, truly, the amount of people he could sense outside of those walls. His affinity for life assuring his awareness of them. His curiosity once more distracting him from that task of actually dressing himself. The wholly sleepy Sebastian so succeeding in that task before Dorian himself. That soft assurance that the socks were within that zippered part of the bag saw the Fae give up his search within the back section, his fingers tugging at that zip before those socks were finally revealed.

"Ah, thank you."

He uttered simply, those silver eyes turned briefly back to his lover as the vampire so finished the last of that tea from his place against the armoire. Dorian shifted to sit back upon the floor then, the man slipping one sock and then the other into place before commencing that hunt for his shoes and too- so allowing that blood those few moments to spread throughout his lovers system. That addition of blood so assuring his own power required far less energy to bring his boyfriends form back to life. It was only once those were finally in place that Dorian rose, the man making every effort to fix the collar of his shirt and tame his hair into something presentable even if he remained somewhat unsure as to exactly what awaited them outside all the same.

"Do you know, Mon Cher, you have been dreadfully obscure about what it is we are doing here. Might I finally get to know this morning? Are we having a garden party? Are we to go out? I am assured there is quite a number of people outside...."

It was easy then, to so cross that room and close that distance between them. Dorian stepping effortlessly behind his lover then, his arms wrapping about the man's waist in an entirely playful manner to pull him softly against him where he was quite assured Sebastian belonged. His chin resting upon the man's shoulder as his head tilted just so to allow his lips to press against his lovers neck in a series of teasing kisses. Those words entirely playful so uttered between those touches.

"Will you tell me now?"

His own affinity had so readily begun to embrace the vampire already, Dorian shifting just slightly to afford the other side of his lover's neck much that same teasing routine. The brush of his lips so assured to feel different with but every press as that affinity so spread further and further throughout his boyfriends figure until the man's heart so thumped readily with life all its own. The sensations of his kiss surely all the more potently felt now upon that ever sensitive neck as he lent away. Dorian stepping around to stand before him now, the man leaning forward to press his lips to the man's own in that final kiss, the fingers of his right hand entwining with Sebastian's own. Ah, but how he adored this man with every part of his being! Dorian so relishing that taste of him now before leaning softly away, that warm simper resting upon his lips.

"Hmm, I think you are ready now. Shall we? I should very much like to know what all those people outside are doing. Even your staff would not tell me and I- not that I asked them.....of course."

That almost sheepish look so danced upon his features then, Dorian tugging softly at Sebastian's hand to lead him towards that bedroom door with the clear intent of making their way outside and into that glorious sunlight that awaited them. His own tiredness all but having vanished in the wake of the clear excitement. His own work utterly forgotten at even the thought of spending the day outside with his lover. Dorian wholly oblivious to just what awaited him outside.
