Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

and maybe we are two sinners
who go bigger, but burn quicker

Lisé never understood why James had always made human's off limits. It's not like they were any different from hunting fae's, were's, or even the forbidden dark hunters. They all displayed the same taste of fear to her. Whatever the reason truly was though, she didn't really care to understand. If she was hungry on her own, she'd hunt whatever she wanted, which James never caught on to. Throughout her and Hannah's flirtatious interactions at the table, there was a hint of slight pleasure taking form in James' features the more Lisé touched her. It isn't long after, before she directs him to fetch them both drinks, her craving a sense of power over him that was followed with a dart of irritancy across his face. It was a gaze of caution as if to tell her to not get too absorbed into the fact she had the upper hand now. Oh, how she would savor such a moment though.

She watches him stride over to the bar while her and Hannah continue to make small talk. It doesn't take long before Lisé senses Hannah's desires on what exactly she wanted to be doing with her. Toying with their prey more, she leads her up to the front where the dancers are now taking off every bit of their clothing that was previously covering them. As she examined her embarrassingly glancing towards the women above them Lisé figured she could come up with an excuse to lead her out to the back alleyway where no one would walk past. It didn't take much to convince Hannah to follow her as she watched James slip back into the shadows waiting for the planned ambush. The air seemed to have a slight chill to it, as Lisé glanced at Hannah's chest when they sauntered outside. Now she just needed to get close enough to Hannah, so she can hold her down while James feeds. She aggressively lands one of her hands against the wall as she pushes her body tightly against Hannah's, making sure to touch every inch of her while she's doing it. This prey was just too simple. The woman so willingly let Lisé run her hands across her, wherever she pleased.

Too bad James wouldn't let her play with her prey a bit longer. The two could really have fun, she thought. "I think we've played long enough, wouldn't you agree, Lisé?" James voice now hinting an excitable tone. "You're no fun James," she whined as she cuddled the woman in front of her. In an instance, the fear had started to consume Hannah from the inside out. There was a dull expression that first coated her face, until the fear that so struck her inner core immersed from a simmer to show a streak of terror that now coated the tear streaked face. Lisé was quick to cover Hannah's mouth, as soundlessly moaned, "No! No! Please," only inhaling air that left her as silent as a mouse. "Don't worry, I won't let those scary thoughts consume you much longer my dear," Lisé comforted, sinking her teeth into the crevice between Hannah's neck and shoulder. She could feed off fear alone, but there was something about the direct connection with her prey that made her meal taste so much more desirable.

It looked as though all the happiness was sucked from Hannah as she hit the stone pavement instantaneously after Lisé released her from her grasp. Licking her lips playfully, Lisé asks James, "Have you had enough to eat? I could go for another!" Both gazing down at their recently hunted prey, they notice that Hannah remains unconscious. "She'll be out for a while," she glanced down, moving her body with one of her heels. "Let's go," she impatiently directs James as she waltzes through the back alley to where their car was parked. "Anywhere else you want to go?" she asked James as she leaned on the car, waiting to see what all he had in mind for the evening.
