Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

She raised a brow at him in question when he spoke next, saying luck was something people blamed so they wouldn't have to be responsible. She thought about it for a minute then shrugged and nodded. "I won't argue with that. Humans are pretty shitty sometimes about taking responsibility. Uh, I mean people." She tried to correct herself, chewing on her bottom lip as she looked away and hoped she didn't look too suspicious. She had to keep reminding herself that she was in the presence of a human who probably didn't know about Were's and vampires and stuff like that so she needed to be more careful with her wording. This was going to be harder than she thought.

At least he didn't seem to notice when she confused herself about luck being a person. That was a little embarassing to be honest. He seemed to agree with her when she said that she could only blame herself for her choices. Maybe he wasn't so bad for a human after all. She noted the way he just re-adjusted his arms when she offered to hold the puppy. Her lips quirked but she didn't say anything. Guess he wasn't going to take her up on the offer anyway. Probably a good thing. She'd hate for the puppy to decide she was dangerous or something and make him suspicious. She teased him when he said he would mark his territory and he laughed, making her lips curl into a grin as he said that she could save her money cause that wasn't happening any time soon. She snorted. "Good thing cause I'm broke anyway."

She wasn't expecting any danger today and maybe that was her fault. She should have had her guard up. But she wasn't expecting Hunters to attack, especially not when a human was involved. Guess she was finding out new things all the time. Before she knew it, they had teleported into an alley. She was worried about Benjamin more so she turned to him, watching warily as he got to his feet. She didn't know whether to expect him to attack her or run the other way. Either would probably be pretty understandable at this point. At least he said he was okay. At his question about powers, she nibbled on her bottom lip again, scuffing her shoe in the dirt before she sighed and looked back up at him. "Okay, so magic is real and monsters and stuff exist. So do powers, as if magical powers. Apparently I can teleport now..or something like teleporting." She shrugged, trying to make it sound like no big deal and hoping that would make him not so eager to freak out. One could only hope.

Then he seemed to think about what she said about being attacked and suddenly he was freaking out a little about the arrow. She raised a brow. "Yeah but it's okay cause I got you away before they could shoot you. See? All good." He was shouting by this point so she stepped closer to put a hand up to his mouth. "Hey, don't get all shouty or they might hear you. I don't know how far away I got us so they could still be looking for us." His next question puzzled her and she scowled at him, crossing her arms. "I just told you. I teleported us here to save you from getting shot. Do you not understand english now or something?"
