Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He wanted so badly to tell Sterling about what had happened with Malia. It had been weighing heavily on his heart the last few days, especially after Raven damn near insulted him over the issue. Perhaps she was right. Perhaps he was in the wrong for giving himself to someone else. The first time could be forgiven, hopefully. After all, he had thought his own boyfriend was dead. He had tried to make the ache go away and when Malia had asked, it was all too easy for him to fall back into the habit of drugs and sex. But the second time, he knew Sterling would not like the second time. He only hoped that after some explanation, he might see that Henry's intentions had been well...he could hope.

And there was still the issue of his scars â€" he wanted to present Sterling with the gift of scar removal. All those scars did was harbor bad memories. He wanted to replace the memories with good ones. And yet, he wasn't so sure Sterling would understand the gesture. He might think that the only reason Henry could not yet it up was because of the scars. Perhaps he might insist on breaking up with him. Perhaps he was done of Henry's antics and this was the final straw.

All these thoughts that flooded his brain were not helping him try to convince Sterling that everything was fine. His boyfriend new something was up. Just one look in the man's eyes told him that Sterling was yearning for answers and Henry was completely unwilling to give at this point. It was best if Sterling didn't know what was stirring in his mind.

Thankfully, Sterling seemed to drop the subject, encouraging them to finish making dinner. He nodded his head just slightly before he turned on the oven and pulled out the small golden potatoes, a sweet potato, and some broccoli. He cut potatoes into small pieces and sliced the broccoli into small florets. He mixed them with some olive oil and rosemary as well as whatever Sterling might have suggested (because we all know that Henry cannot cook at all).

Once the potatoes were in the oven, he set about making a salad for them to eat. Salad were impossible to mess up. He cut up some lettuce, spinach, grated some carrots, added some baby tomatoes, and tossed in a little cheese. He put it all in a bowl and let it sit in the refrigerator.

Returning to Sterling, he looked down at the lamb being seared on the stovetop. With a playful grin, Henry looked to Sterling. "Want me to help?" He knew what the answer would be. He really had no intention to help Sterling with dinner, just wanted to be a little playful. He wanted to decrease the tension in the room for what he ultimately wanted for the evening. The movie was just a ploy. He had no interest in watching a movie tonight.
