Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Once upon a time, the Asian girl might have taken up the prospect of self-defense classes with some hint of gusto. Once, she might have had the confidence in herself to believe that she was somehow capable of saving herself. Her transformation into a member of the undead, however, had all but decimated any shred of belief she'd had in her own abilities. This kidnapping yet another veritable blow to the girl's already fragile self-esteem to the point that she much preferred to merely hide away from the world at large. Her agreement to that magical artifact prompted a nod from the man at her side as he declared he 'knew some people'. Somehow, that hardly surprised her. Damon seemed to know everything, as far as she was concerned. The man so fearlessly walked that line behind light and darkness. She might have pretended not to see it but she knew far more of his nature than she let on - those flashes of colors that danced across his own aura giving away the very character of the presently gentleman. The chocolate of her irises fluttered upwards towards the grin upon his features and weakly, Chizue made an effort to return that smile. Any effort she made to acquire that artifact for herself, however, was quickly turned down as Damon firmly shook his head. His assurance that he both knew what he was looking for and that it was hardly a bother was enough for Chizue to admit defeat. "Okay." She murmured softly as her darkly hued gaze turned towards the sidewalk.

It hardly took much longer, however, before that quaint little dinner came into view. The sound of Damon's voice drew her attention upwards and slowly her head nodded in a glimpse of understanding. Admittedly, she still found herself almost holding her breath all the same as they stepped into the dinner. Silently, Chizue's gaze traced over the inhabitants of the quiet dinner. She could hardly deny that Damon was right - it was quite a peaceful little restaurant. Her eyes drifted towards the dark blue hue of exhaustion that surrounded the half-asleep truck driver to the quiet determination of the off duty nurse. She eyed the waitress at the far end of the booth who held the hue of that hint of hopelessness that was Chizue's constant companion of late. Finally, it was the quiet elderly couple that caught her gaze and gingerly she reached out to tug upon Damon's sleeve. The girl leaned upward to whisper quietly within his ear. "Them." She gestured slightly towards the elderly couple and though it was the man she was after, the idea of them together was somehow...concerning for her to approach alone.
