Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

The thing about being a child was that people tended not to notice you. Anna had been lurking around the local supernatural hangouts, hoping to catch a glimpse of her dark haired partner in crime, when she had overheard a few gossiping. Surely what they said was...preposterous. They spoke of seeing a child at some estate that seemed older every month...by years. Now that was a new and interesting supernatural phenomenon.

Anna had pondered that possibility but curiosity got the better of her. As soon as the sun had set the next night she was making a beeline for the place the men had been talking about. It was actually only a few streets down from the manor which had been abandoned to her some years ago. Some days Anna wasn't quite sure why she remained there, and yet, where else would she go? No matter. The petite girl wandered along the tall weathered brick wall surrounding the estate. Delicate fingers reached out to run along the textured surface in thought. The only thing that these walls would keep out were humans.

The towering estate within appeared dark and empty which honestly didn't deter the vampire child in the least. The ever observant child found a cluster of rocks that she quickly scrambled up onto. Rising onto her tiptoes she was able to grip a few bricks that jutted out and easily hoist herself up the remainder of the wall. Slowly and carefully Anna lowered herself down on the other side. Or rather dangled until she let herself drop and land with the grace of her species on the other side. She casually brushed off the front of her dress as her gaze swept the expanse of the lawn. It was horribly...empty. If there was a child living here wouldn't there be a playset or something? It looked downright boring.

A faint pout touched the child's features. She had hoped for some fun and it looked liked those rumors were false. Well...she was already here, she could at least make some fun of her own. Perhaps she could still take a peek inside. Anna made her way across the expanse of the lawn to one of the back doors of the estate. The shadows which clung to every corner began to ooze like liquid, slithering along the ground towards the child and gather at her feet before undulating and growing until it formed a floating twisted creature. Anna beamed brightly as she crouched down to be eye-level with her creation. "Wanna have some fun?"
