Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

One finger moved to trace the outline of the blueprints the man had placed before him, youthful features scowling slightly at one particular area of the building he was attempting to virtually navigate by way of the map before him, head tilting ever so slightly in a manner that saw lashings of that white gold hair tumble into the amber gold of his gaze. For a moment, Az managed a snort of sorts, huffing slightly as he brush the hair aside, wondering for the umpteenth time why he didn't just shave the lot off. He never was a fan of the colour. The particular building that held his attention tonight was one of the many downtown office buildings that littered the city, a hive of human activity and yet this particular one had caught his attention purely by chance. The top floor, seemingly unoccupied, after careful observation over a series of weeks had proven to be unique- in that it's occupants only arrived at certain times and seemed to linger, always after dark, that floor never utilised within the day and as such the Hunters attention had been piqued. Getting in however, was proving a far more difficult task then he had the time- or patience for. It was with something akin to a sigh that the toned young man finally pushed back from the kitchen table, one hand running through his tangled locks, rolling his shoulders in some effort to loosen them- realising for the first time that his bare shoulders were cold- a side effect of his ever-present sleeveless hoody and yet, restricting his arms at all had proven to be a distraction he hardly needed. In his line of work, second chances were so rarely given. Better he remained unencumbered, even in his own home.

He strode easily into the little kitchen, hands tucked into the pockets of his black jeans, flicking the kettle as he went by, rather determined to make himself something remotely warm to drink, his free hand hitting the TV remote, flicking the television in the coroner on, evidently of the opinion that for today at least- his work was done. Maybe he could find some football or...something. Tomorrow he'd have to look into his missing shoes and yet the thought of that dark-haired witch only caused him further discomfort. Brushing the thought from his mind entirely the young blondes attention returned to food, singing open the kitchen cupboard in some vague hope something edible had appeared there. He was hardly lacking funds, despite the small apartment he'd resigned himself to in the lower socio-economic part of town, in fact, given his longevity his wealth was exceptional, he simply preferred to avoid such high end ideals when he could, some lingering thread of his humanity- it would seem. The sight of little more than a packet of two-minute noodles did little to excite him, eyes rolling slightly at his own lack of ability to shop before a knock at the door saw the gold of his gaze narrow. He was hardly expecting anyone, hell, he purposely attempted not to have friends. Friends were a weakness, one he didn't need.

His hands easily slid themselves free of his pockets as he wandered forward, curious and yet wary all the same. He hadn't survived this long by being foolish and as it is he has no desire to be caught off guard tonight. One hand reaches for the door knob, un-flicking the lock as he did and pulling the door ajar- only to be met with a blank hallway.

"What?"

For a moment genuine surprise seemed to linger upon his features, amber gold eyes flicked hurriedly left and right for any sign of anyone. Perhaps- had he been a younger Hunter he may well have simply returned to pondering his cupboard, as it is, Azrael has been in this game far to long to believe in coincidental sounds, one hand brushing momentarily at the girdle at his waist, the Saxe knife slid free with silent precision before he simply pivots in place, the knife whirled in a sudden arc around him, slashed seemingly at air and yet...Az is willing to bet he is no longer alone. Let's see what he can stir up, hmmm?

"Alright, I know someone's here, so either show yourself and make this easy- or I'll start firing in every direction and well see how long you live then."

The barest hint of a smirk touched his lips beneath that deep, baritone voice. He always had enjoyed his work.
