Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

God I want to Dream again

Who knew learning how to walk again would be painful. I mean seriously. I am slowly getting the hang of it. I mean at first I was lagging behind him, but as we travelled farther away from the barn I was getting the hang of it. I did notice that instead of thinking about each leg moving in place I was finding the movements slowly becoming easy. I mean it was becoming natural I think. I could feel myself moving much faster. I wasn't stumbling around which is good, and thankfully I haven't fallen again. Gradually I start to reach his side, an odd sound emits from myself, I guess one would call a nicker. I am feeling quite, well I don't know. I mean I just turned into a HUGE horse. Perhaps I am just feeling pleased that I haven't made an embarrassment of myself. Who knew it was because I was near the Alpha and my mind was slowly shifting into the natural need to be close to him, to please him and make him happy.

As we move towards his home I tilt my large dial to the side puzzled as to why I am coming here. I watch as he uses the rope to pull open the gate and I am amused that he had created such a thing. Following him my dark ears point towards him in an interested manner. Seeing him head to the side of the house I follow a few steps behind him and as he shifts to his human form I quickly turn my dial away. I must admit I have seen a half-naked man before, but I've never seen one fully naked and quite frankly I don't think I should look upon him in such a way. One ear flickers when I hear the zipper go up on his jeans and I find it safe to look at him again. For a moment I take notice of the silver chain gleaming against his neck and the silver medallion resting on his chest. Puzzled as to why he was wearing some sort of jewelry I was about to ask, but quickly stopped myself. I'm a horse. He is now a human. Unless I discover the ability to talk like Mr. Ed on the TV show, I'm gonna look like an idiot. So, instead I simply nod my head to his information about placing clothes here.

Quietly I follow him as he heads towards a rather large tree. Standing underneath the tree I watch as he sits himself down on a chair. As he explains how I am to sleep I have to admit it does not sound pleasant. Apparently I could die. Great. I'd have to stand on my legs. Well no thank you. Come on horse magic I think it's time I turn into a human again. I drop my backpack that I had been carrying in my mouth to the ground. At the mention of food I stare at him for a moment before nodding my head thinking that this might be the only effective way to communicate, since I lack the ability to speak. However, I guess my wish came true, because I suddenly felt a series pain begin to fester within my head and it slowly began to spread within my body. Taking a few steps back away from him, I shake my head back and forth unable to truly focus on my surrounding. Unable to keep myself up I manage to fall to the front of my knees, feeling my body start to light on fire again quite in distress. Once again I feel my body begin to endure the changing process, but now I go big to small, and I really don't know which one is worse. Eventually I return back to my human form, though I am naked now, wonderful. But right now my mind is focused on the pain I felt, not the fact I was naked, and naturally I curled into a ball my arms wrapping over myself as I begin to shiver, my body and mind still in shock from the pain.
