Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

All I wanted was to break your walls

Noon was rolling in, the sun was bright and warm, though the chill wind was a sharp reminder that Summer had passed. I stood at the kitchen sink in a pair of orange boxers, my hair still a mess of thick tufts I hadn't bothered to brush out. It was a Saturday, and I didn't have a show tonight, so it was a day to just sit around on my ass and not bother about anything. The clanking of the dishes could hardly be heard over my music blasting. Miley Cyrus had been my drug of choice today, and as the chorus line came on I couldn't help but convert the spoon I was holding into the a glitter disco microphone, "I CAN'T BE TAMED, I CAN'T BE SAAAAAVED" This of course escalated into a full club dance, and I ended up hip thrusting my way half way across the kitchen before I realized I was leaving a trail of soap on the floor. Damn it. Oh well, I spun around and danced back to the sink and continued to finish the last of the dishes and tossed a rag onto the floor, using my foot to scoot it around and mop up the mess.

I was in the bedroom getting dressed when I heard a key in the door. Feeling my heart race a little, I quickly finished pulling on my white t-shirt, to go with the black jeans I'd already gotten on. His voice came booming through the apartment and I startled by how happy he sounded. I grinned enthusiastically and walked into the hallway (trying to not look TOO pleased to see him). I stared at him, then the thing he was holding. I was entirely clueless, and gave him a questioning look, a single eyebrow raised. As he spoke, I realised this was something for me, and my inner child could bare it no more. "You got me something!?" I locked eyes with him a moment as he gestured for me to come over, and I grinned wildly. Shuffling over quickly, I knelt down and pulled the blanket off the crate. It took a moment for my eyes to make sense of what I was looking at, cause to be honest it was not at all what I'd expected...though, I don't even know what I WAS expecting. As soon as the little creature scooted closer to the cage door, I grabbed the crate with both hands. "NO WAY! OH MY GOD COLE" I quickly opened it and reached in tenderly pulling with now squealing baby from the confines of the create. I sat down completely now and held it to my chest protectively. If you looked close enough, there were tears forming already, but I tried to force them back. "Ugggh he's so cute! He's perfect!" I lifted the little piggy up carefully, peering underneath a moment and then laughing as I pressed him back to my hest. "Yep, it's a he! Can we call him Babe, like that movie...or Wilbur? Or...Oh God we could call him Ziggy for Ziggy Stardust." I looked up at Cole and grinned. "Thank you!" I wanted to stand up and kiss him, but the little baby in my arms was already a wiggly little fuss.
