Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There was something about Kato that Edie couldn't help but trust, the girl making the choice to open up to him in ways that she wouldn't with others. Telling him about her pack mates was simple enough, but the question of what the pack could do... That question made her look up with a skeptical gaze, hardly able to understand why exactly he might need to know that information. She trusted him, she did, but there was something about the way he asked that made her nervous, as though she would be betraying her pack to give away their powers. Still, it didn't stop her from speaking, her body moving to lean against the counter beside him. "I don't know," She replied honestly, biting her lower lip. "I know Frost can read minds and manipulate temperatures. But Claire and Calliel..." She shifted. "I haven't been here long enough to know." It was hard for her to think of how little she knew of her pack. After all, she knew that Calliel wasn't taking her appointment to Beta well. Claire seemed fine enough, but it was Calliel's hostility to her that bothered her. She rather liked the teenager, though she wasn't sure how to make the girl feel the same about her.

Luckily, she was spared from having to think too much about it by the man's compliment. It caused a grin to spread on her features as she watched him finish his food. Why, why, why did his words make her smile so much? She'd certainly not tried to react that way. This was just for tonight, she promised herself, though the authenticity of that promise to herself was quickly fading with time. She felt drunk on him. She wanted to pull him into her bed and keep him there. It was... it was not a thought that was unappealing, exactly, one she just hadn't felt within herself in a long time. Frankly, it was terrifying.

But pull him up to her bedroom was exactly what she did. Her fingers clasping at his, she led him towards the living room, grateful when he broke away to grab the boxes for her. "Thank you," She replied quietly before she led him right up the stairs to the door that she'd claimed as her own. It was across the hall from Frost's â€" the girl having decided it was probably best to not share walls with her Alpha, especially on nights like this one. Letting him in, she stood near the door as she watched him drop her boxes and continue on to investigate her bedroom. It wasn't much, really. The only thing she'd done to customize the space was to change the generic sheets Frost had had to a set of dark purple sheets and a white fluffy comforter. She spent very little time in the room anyway. The bed was the important part, right? She shut the door behind her, turning the lock before she moved to sit on that very bed. "I can think of something else I want," She said with a small grin as she grabbed ahold of his arm, tugging him over to join her on the bed with a press of her lips to his and her hands pressing the hem of his pants down once more.

After, Edie moved to curl up on his chest, her fingers stroking down his skin as she looked up at the man she'd dragged into her bed tonight. He was so handsome, and so good at what they'd just done, after all. Luckily for her ego, that damn giggle of hers managed to keep itself hidden. Now the moment was a quiet one, her fingers drawing circles on his chest. "Stay the night," She found herself murmuring after several long minutes of content silence. It was a simple request, though the man had no idea how rare of one it was. She might as well admit it to herself, even if she wouldn't admit it to him. Kato was no one night stand, and while she refused to get attached to him, anyone who made her feel that good in bed deserved a second night, right?
