Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was such a pleasant thought to be able to conquer the faerie man. Most of the men in her life she certainly had no hope whatsoever of doing this to. Kato could likely lift her with one hand, and Frost was too smart to play into her tricks. And yet, Dorian here was none of those things. He was weak, frail, defenseless. It was certainly an amusing conundrum that they found themselves in, wasn't it? It was such a fun game to play, to assure him that he had no way of moving her. She doubted he could throw her off, doubted he would harm her. It was that that caused her to tease him by pressing her lips against him. It was deceitful, she was sure. She had no real interest in the man, but the post-modern persona of the man was far too fun to toy with. She was sure he'd find nothing but horror in her gestures, and the looks on his face were certainly worth the disgust she'd feel for kissing him. It was all in fun that she offered up her name and the bits of information on who she was, a giggle releasing from her lips at the absurdity of it all.

"Frost told me to detain you for a bit, keep you occupied. He had... things to do, people to see. Frost is a very, very important man, you see. He has a lot of things he has to accomplish. " The tease she offered was, in fact, all the information that she knew regarding Frost's plans. She was sure that she would demand them later, but for now, it was enough to torment the man. "As for seeing Frost, I can assure you that that isn't going to happen. He trusts me entirely to get the job done. And I don't disappoint him." She could almost feel the confusion from the man, followed by the look of concern that graced his features. Who was it that Frost was needing to talk to? Who was this idiot protecting? Whoever it was, Edie couldn't help but think that they should rethink that whole situation. After all, she had taken him down easily enough.

It was only his assurance that he must relieve her of her duty that sent a laugh from her lips, one that was cut abruptly short as the man quite literally vanished in front of her. She let out a gasp, clearly confused that he was gone, yet she could still feel him under her fingers. The momentary confusion was used to his advantage, something causing her to lose her balance. She struggled to grip at his skin, at his shirt, at something. She let out a yelp as she was cast onto her back in the garden. She jumped to her feet, looking around quickly. She could hear the rustle of the leaves, the crunch of his footsteps. And yet, there was no sight of him. She could certainly go out of her way to slow the man, to keep him from escaping her grasp.

And yet...

And yet the allotted hour was up. She'd done her duty to Frost, kept him busy. Surely, whatever he needed was done now. She could hear the way the man darted towards the gate, and instead of stopping him, the young woman merely stepped back, opening up the pathway. It was worthless to attempt to keep him here. She couldn't fight an enemy that she couldn't see, and there was no reason to detain him any longer.

"Until we meet again, Dorian. It was a pleasure to meet you."
