Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

You call and I respond, the sparrow and the song
I miss you when you're gone

While he had been in no way expecting any kind of appreciation from his guest, Spencer would be lying if he didn't admit he had been expecting something of a... more welcoming attitude than what she was delivering. Having heard the sounds of movement in the other room, Spencer had lowered his breakfast bowl from his face to about stomach level, which turned out to be a good decision (not that it was a conscious one) when his house guest sent the remainder of his breakfast crashing against the wall and cabinets. Unfortunately, his shirt was also a casualty since he had still been holding the spoon when she swiped the bowl from his hands. The sound of shattering ceramic was accompanied by the loud bang of his heel hitting the lower cabinets when he tried to take a step back, only to find himself (this really was becoming a common occurrence) trapped. However, unlike many of their encounters, Spencer wasn't so ready to roll over and expose his weak points.

"What the fuck me?! What the fuck was that!" He snarled indignantly, gesturing toward his broken bowl and food-painted counters. "Jesus fucking Christ." Spencer moved away from between her and the cabinets to get a paper towel to attempt to clean his shirt off at least. Maybe this was another of her attempts to get a reaction but, for once, Spencer was actually far more ready to fight. After all, they were in his home. Perhaps it was a false sense of security but a man's home is his castle, no? That and he truly believed her reaction was unjustified. It wasn't like he had done anything besides coax to her shut the fuck up and sleep.

However, this was not the way to be a good host. He liked to believe he was better than petty arguments and throwing oatmeal all over his kitchen (unlike someone). So, deep breath... or two deep breathes, turn and look at her. Note the fury in her eyes, though his outrage was barely contained in his eyes. He dabbed at the food on his shirt, trying to carefully remove it without spreading any stains. Sadly he was pretty sure this was a lost cause for the day. "Go on, Askaree, please do tell what's got you so upset?" He asked tersely, making a point to meet and hold her eyes. Why was she still naked? Was this typical of her? To storm the kitchen of a man mostly naked, rage flashing in her eyes? You know, he might be a little rusty, but this seemed like the wrong way to go about things...
