Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Henry was on the verge on unconsciousness when Sterling finally entered the front door. Henry's fever had worsened to a near brain-cell-killing level. His whole body, drenched in sweat, shook from the chills. His eyes rested on Sterling as he knelt before him. He hadn't even noticed the soup. He sighed in relief as Sterling brushed a hand along his forehead. Before he could process the words Sterling was speaking, the male was already standing and heading for the kitchen.

As Sterling left him lying on the couch, his eyes fell on the bag on the coffee table. It warmed his heart to know that Sterling had picked him some food, most likely some chicken soup by the local diner. He'd been trying to get Henry to try it before, but Henry had kept saying "one day". Sterling swore by the soup and it touched Henry that he had thought to bring some home.

By the time Sterling arrived back from the kitchen and he placed the cool rag upon his forehead, Henry entered a violent seizure. As his body shook uncontrollably, Henry felt something new beginning to happen. His bones began to ache more than they had before. It felt as though his bones were breaking. Screams fell from Henry's lips and he was unable to speak to Sterling. It was now as if Sterling was no longer even standing next to him. Pain coursed through his body as his knuckles curled and twisted. It looked like something straight out of the exorcist. And as the moon rose higher, the more Henry began to feel his body changing.

Henry's mind was no longer present. It was like something was coming over his. His eyes were changing. His pupils were dilated and he began to sense that there were changes happening to his senses. He wasn't sure what was happening to him, but it was scary as hell.

Falling off the couch, his body hit the floor with a thud as he screamed again. This was not a quiet scream of pain, but a gut-wrenching scream that made one sick to their stomach. His body was changing...but why? Looking down, he could see dark fur began to sprout from his skin. His blonde hair began to grow dark from the roots while the hair on his body began to grow thick and black. What the fuck was happening?

Involuntarily, his body rose to his hands and knees, the bones cracking and breaking as weight was put on them. Screams were once again let out as his eyes fell on the moon. It was rising higher and with each passing moment, Henry felt himself slipping away. His consciousness was leaving him and being replaced by something he couldn't understand. Eyes rested on Sterling's, fear evident as he silently begged for Sterling to do something to help him. What was happening to him?
