South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South
She's a natural in disaster
The silence after and before
We're the ones she's chasing after
She's coming back for more

It was strange to think back to her childhood, but that was mostly because it always felt like a fresh wound to her. She wasn't like the other kids though, she had a place to go at night, and she technically had a home. It never felt like one though, not after her mother died, because her father took to drinking. He ended up caring more about where he was getting his next drink than his daughter. Tamzin had to learn how to take care of herself, and the others accepted her no matter what. She was always running around with them, hell, she taught most of them how to get away with their petty theft for survival. They also taught her things as well, and she did miss those childhood friends sometimes.

A small smile touched her lips, she had gotten lost in her memories. A second later though she realized what happened and once again she put up her mask of indifference. Her fingers gripped her glass tighter and she took a long gulp, finishing the drink off before slamming the glass back on the table. Her hand then fisted and they pressed into her lap as she tried to keep herself from fidgeting. Icy blue studied Sera again, and she wished that she would have given her some sort of something saying why she had left.

When Sera disappeared, Tamzin changed in ways no one could really explain. She became more violent and reckless, she got picked up by the cops a few times, but when they saw her home life they usually would let her go with a warning. That didn't stop her though, each day she got worse and worse, and eventually all the other kids kept their distance. It hurt but she would never let anyone see how badly. She felt alone when Sera left, the younger girl was like a sister to her, and she would always make sure she was taken care of. Her biggest fear was that Sera had been killed, scenario after scenario would flash through her mind, and she would wake up screaming a lot of the time. After all these years though, she was finally getting her answer and she wasn't quite sure what she felt about it.

"Do you have any idea how long I looked for you, Sera? I thought the worst, because one day you just weren't there. Do you have any idea what that did to me? You were my fucking responsibility, and you just fucking disappeared."

Tamzin sighed and quickly stood up and moved back towards the bar. The bartender saw her coming and had another drink waiting for her by the time she reached the bar. She handed him a hundred dollar bill and told him to keep the drinks coming. Her eyes squeezed closed as she took a calming breath before grabbing her drink and moved to the booth they were sharing. Another long drink was taken as her eyes seemed to look everywhere at Sera for a few minutes. She was trying to contain her anger and pain, but with each drink it was getting more and more difficult. Her tongue brushed her lips as she finally looked back into those familiar eyes, her face back at indifference.

"You could have come to my house, I always had room for you, Sera."
