South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Kato Buhari

Kato was relieved when Edie didn't push him away or fight him on manipulating her. Though a part of him doubted her had much strength left to do so. It also took great effort for Kato not to smirk at Edie being so worried about the strange looks she had been getting. He sorely wanted to point out that she had been the white woman walking around in her bra. At least he had the tactfulness enough to tell that this wasn't the moment to be pointing that out to her. Kato was as equally glad that he had finally spoken the words to her. Though before he hadn't known he had wanted to until Edie had voiced them first. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted from his shoulders being able to truly put that word in connection to the relationship they had found together.

With Edie's lips back on his and her body curling around him so deliciously, Kato's body responded eagerly. Edie breaking the kiss and posing her question though allowed his logical brain room to think. Kato offered a soft grunt in acknowledgement of her words before he was able to find his voice again. "We'll sleep here tonight. But, first, there's something I need to show you." With a smirk one of his hands slid down from her hip down her thigh and to her knee to pull her leg back up to hook around his waist. There was only love reflected in his eyes as he looked back at her before their lips crashed together again. He was all hands, exploring her curves until he yanked her shirt up and over her head to toss it aside along with her bra. Then he was all lips, tasting every inch of her newly exposed skin. Kato separated from her long enough to press her pants and panties down and waiting for her to step out of them before resuming his worshiping of her.

He would show her the heights he could take her. He would show her just how much he loved her. Kato knew Edie was tired and just like any other time, was more than happy to take the lead and do all the work. It really allowed him to focus on her alone anyways. So as the darkness crept over them, Kato took Edie crashing over the edge of bliss against the trunk of the tree with her name on his lips. It took a moment for him to slowly release her afterwards, ensuring her legs would hold her before he stepped away to their bag. He produced the singular blanket he had stuffed inside and threw it over the ground before pulling Edie on top of it with him. Kato didn't like her having to sleep on the hard earth, he himself used to it, but tried to make her as comfortable as possible wrapping his arms around her and pulling her to him.

Kato didn't exactly sleep through the night. He spent most of it with one arm braced beneath his head and the other curled protectively around Edie's form; her head rising and falling slowly where it lay on his chest. It had been a few years since he'd been back in Africa so the sounds all around them with the moon and stars above as the only light was something he simply wanted to soak in as much as possible. After all, being with Edie meant he didn't know when he would be returning again.

Morning came perhaps too soon, the stars and moon disappearing and the large orange globe of the sun peeking out on the horizon. The heat had been stifled during the night to go so far as for Kato to need to drape his shirt over Edie's upper body to prevent her from getting too cold. Although the day promised to be another scorcher, now was still bearable and the best time to get back on the road. "..Edie." Kato gently stroked his fingers along her arm and side to wake her. "We need to get moving before it starts getting hot again. After we eat go ahead and shift and I'll carry you." He pressed a kiss to her temple before adjusting them so he could roll out from under her and gather their things back into their bag. Once the blanket was back in the bag, they were fed, him in his pants, and her in her fox form atop the bag tossed over his shoulder did they set out again.

The travel today mirrored the same as the last with sparse travelers alongside the road with them once the paved road turned to beaten down dirt. Kato stopped every few hours as he had the day before in order to offer Edie water, even going so far as to offer her some of the dried fruit though he was unsure if her carnivore pallet cared for such a thing. The border sign for Botswana came and went and then the sign for the game reserve appeared and Kato halted. "Ok, we'll switch here. They should be closer to this eastern border at this time of the year." The fact that the game reserve was over 20,000 square miles big wasn't something Kato thought it would be wise to share with Edie considering it meant that much more trekking.

Kato shuffled them into the bush far away from the dirt road before shedding his pants, stuffing them in the bag, and then letting the change overtake him. The large rhino left standing where the man once was gave a snort and a shake of his massive head. Carefully yet with practiced ease, Kato dipped his head to hook his large horn through the strap of their bag then toss his head back until the strap slipped down to loop around his neck. It was a snug fit but worked just fine. His gaze quickly sought out the fennec form of his girlfriend to ensure her safety. "Stay close, the predators out here are real. Are you ready?" It would be far different going through the savannah now than alongside the beaten path of the roads.
