Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

It was a lot to take in but he was trying his best to keep pace with it all. At least his girlfriend wasn't dying. That was always a plus. Then he found out that not only was she not dying. She was pregnant with his child. Oh, and it was growing fast and coming a lot sooner than nine months. And then Amelia asked him to move in with her. It felt like she had been sitting on that question for a while though. Still, it was all very unexpected. He was still in shock a little but he knew Amelia must be too and yet she was staying strong through it all. She was truly an amazing woman. He was frozen to the spot more than anything. Maybe he could have run, maybe some part of him even wanted to, but he could never do that to Amelia. She deserved better than that. He could tell that she was happy about him agreeing to live with her and that in turn made him happy.

She could stay in his lap forever as far as he was concerned. She was perfect, right where she was. She looked like she almost expected him to joke more about the whole boyfriend versus roommate thing but he wouldn't do that to her right now. Instead, he just wanted her to know that he didn't plan on them simply staying boyfriend and girlfriend forever. That would be changing soon enough. He wanted to gauge her reaction and see what she thought about the idea of making him her husband and it seemed she was up for the idea. She smiled and leaned in to kiss him. He kissed her back with fervor, wanting her to know that he would continue wanting her for as long as she would have him. He loved the way she made him feel. She said she would like that and he grinned.

"Good."

That was all that was needed for now. He knew she was up for the idea so he would work on the rest of it. She couldn't stop smiling now and he liked it. She looked so beautiful when she smiled. She kissed him again, this time with more urgency and he was right there with her, his hands tangling in her hair as he cradled her face gently. He was stuck between his carnal desires and his need to protect her. Then she whispered to him that she loved him and he smiled from ear to ear. His eyes lit up like fireworks.

"And I love you, Amelia."

He didn't think words like that would ever leave his lips but here they were. And he knew that he meant every last word.
