Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

His Royal Majesty

Dorian Aragona

The King of Italy

There was something entirely satisfying in that singular moment of peace they were afforded in the wake of Vhalla's terribly hasty exit from their bedroom. The young witch having all but ignored Dorian's assurance they were not properly attired only to discover that very thing for herself. She was, Dorian had decided, quite an enjoyable woman on some occasions and yet she lacked any and all ability to conduct herself in any sort of decent manner at all. Either Vhalla had no knowledge of just what was expected of her or she simply did not care in the slightest. How poorly she would have done in his own time! The poor woman unlikely to ever find a husband with that sort of demeanour and yet, perhaps, she was more akin to those modern women of today. Dorian not at all assured he understood and yet too he was, slowly, beginning to accept that this was merely the personality of the woman. Obscure though it was. His own form shifted but slightly upon the bed as Sebastian sat upward. Dorian moving to lean over him if only to steal that simple kiss before allowing his head to rest on the man's shoulder with a simple affection. His silver gaze determinedly travelling the length off his lover figure to eye all those places that had so shocked Vhalla. Dorian promptly announcing his distinct enjoyment of them. That soft, rich chuckle parting his lips at Sebastian decidedly unenthusiastic declaration that they surely need survive that visit quite before any enjoyment could be had. How unfortunate that was! Dorian rather assured there were several parts off his lover he would like to enjoy at this very moment. The man scowling softly at that closed door before his own gentle sigh left him.

"Given how readily her attention so finds itself inclined to waver it is likely she will become quite bored with us in an hour or two. I think I should quite like to go back to bed after that- or perhaps a bath."

His head tilted but slightly once more, lips pressed near teasingly to the sensitive skin off his lovers neck if only to coax that reaction from the man he so enjoyed drawing the life before at last leaning away and allowing the vampire to see about finding their clothing. It took several moments still for the pair to dress themselves, Dorian entirely content to spend a number of minutes in front of that mirror in an effort to assure his shirt sat perfectly in place. Impromptu visit or otherwise the Fae King so refused to be anything less then well dressed for any occasion. That simple pride in his appearance as entirely ingrained within the Monarch as it had been within his own time. Dorian at last declaring himself ready before waiting for his fiancé to finish and make his way toward that bedroom door. Sebastian so seemingly content to follow at a far more lackadaisical pace. He offered that woman that simple greeting in that moment, her query upon that schedule so met with a soft frown upon his features, his head simply shaking.

"I think, after all this time, it is both our schedule."

He offered simply. Dorian quite unable to remember the last time he had spent the day awake and the night asleep as he once had. That near two years had had spent with Sebastian having readily seen the Fae transition to the vampire's own nocturnal habits if only for the practicality off it. Most of his Court so having followed suit. It was that query of just how the woman before them had gotten in at all, however, that seemed to tug at his own curiosity. Dorian only now so seeming to become aware of the practicalities of her presence, the mention of that bottom window so seeing his head tilt. How careless of it not to have been locked! Perhaps, in some fashion, it was near fortunate Vhalla had chosen to break in- if only to highlight that lack in their security. Dorian so given to glance through that hallway window to eye the Press that seemed eternally gathered at their front gate. How unfortunate it would be were any one of them given to reach their home. Dorian rather assured he did not desire to see any photos of themselves taken in their home posted across the world's magazines.

His own gaze shifted in that moment to meet Sebastian's own, his head nodded in response to that mention of a security detail. Dorian not at all assured what such a thing might entail and yet he held every faith in his fiancé's ability to see it through. Dorian's attention shifted then to that delighted puppy. Maxwell apparently overjoyed at the prospect of such an early visitor. Even one whom had broken in. The puppy so evidently not yet capable of deducing the difference, although, Dorian suspected, he was perhaps not of the demeanour to be a guard dog in any sense. Still- perhaps he merely needed more time?

"I do not think he is old enough to scare off intruders. He has not even finished preschool yet. I quite think he should do that before he is enrolled in any sort of guard dog school. Heavens, but it took as long enough to interview preschools!"

That it was, perhaps, not terribly common to interview puppy preschool's had hardly occurred to the man. Dorian having insisted upon finding the perfect school all the same, Sebastian having been equally as determined, the Fae rather finding himself not looking forward to the prospect of querying those further educational establishments on their qualifications given how long it had taken to select one to begin with. Such a thought pressed from his mind for now at Vhalla's query as to whether she could keep him, Sebastian promptly assuring her she could visit, if she desired. His own head nodded in agreement at that requirement of treats, that simper finding his lips before Vhalla bent to pick Maxwell up- the puppy excitedly licking at her hands.

"Sebastian brought him home one evening after he had been visiting with a friend."

That smile readily found him once more at the memory of that very evening Sebastian had so returned with that far smaller puppy. Dorian quite having been of a mind to assure him the decision to adopt such a pet was surely one they had both been required to make and yet such words had barely made it from his lips before he had found himself scooping that puppy into is own arms with clear delight. Maxwell so very quickly having become an adopted child of sorts. One whom had spent that very first night so curled up between them in their own bed. Dorian rather assured he would not change such a thing for the world. His gaze lifted to meet Sebastian's own once more in that simple memory before he moved to gesture down that hall.

"Would you care for breakfast Vhalla? Or some tea? Perhaps you might tell u where you have been all this time. Did you travel somewhere?"

Tea, after all, was by far Sebastian favoured thing to have in the morning. Dorian in turn having become quite partial to it.
