Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Hold on to this lullaby; even when the music's gone

Claire felt like a deer caught in the trucks headlights as the man walked over. What was her luck with finding men. She's never seen one until the past few days and all of a sudden that's all she was running into. She should be shell-shocked by now, should be running for the hills, she should just shift and go and live in the woods. But it wasn't safe for someone her size as it was already proven. She was meant to be a part of a pack with others to watch her very troublesome back.

She righted herself in the snow, doing a few hops to keep her feet out of the substance she used to love but right now loathed. It was generally easier to shift where she could just leave her shirt and pants and not worry about leaving sneakers behind. Her eyes were wide, watching him as he studied the scene around her and she let him take it all in. "My pants?" She asks and follows his gaze down to the undone zipper and button, "Oh!" She exclaims, swiftly doing up the button and zipper in one fluid move.

As he assaults her with questions she could only stare at him, he was human, she wasn't sure what he was supposed to look or smell like. But he seemed normal enough. "Umâ€"" she pauses while trying to gather her thoughts, "Uhmâ€"I was looking for shoes." She pauses again to listen to his questions, "You sound like Nathaniel. Do you always ask so many questions?" She asks this while she bends to pick up the trash cans to put them in the correct spot and move around them towards him.

She leans in closer, staring up at him through her thick lashes. "Do you have sharp teeth?" She asks, suddenly, her mother used to tell her myths of humans to scare her into behaving. She did read books but she was sure the authors just left those tidbits out. She turned to let her gaze shift down to her feet, a common enough thing when she was around men.

"Iâ€"think so. I justâ€"" she pauses again, she really wanted that meat, "â€"I just lost my way." Would be believe her? She certainly wouldn't if she had seen a young man or woman barefoot and a bit disheveled, it would definitely raise some red flags. She pulled in her bottom lip, chewing on it to try and decide what to do. Should she go with him, figure out where she was and gain his pity? She thinks so. Tears fill her eyes, "Iâ€"could use help. Please, its just so cold," Yes, she would play on his pity and maybe she could finagle the food away from him. She was just too lazy to go out and hunt, determined to try and fit into the human world.
