Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Chizue was altogether tentative to leave the perceived sanctuary of Isolt's townhome - the world beyond those walls was harsh and callous and how she abhorred the fear that so afflicted her every time she stepped beyond them. Her hesitance was altogether visible as she sluggishly stepped down onto the sidewalk, her chocolate eyes peering suspiciously at the hedges as of searching for some remaining figment of the coven that had taken her nearly a year prior. Her gait was sluggish, her fingers clasped cautiously in front of her as Damon joined her. She was well aware of his presence, his body lingering but mere inches beside her and yet, he seemed so careful not to touch her - though, admittedly, she'd hardly noticed the attentiveness he'd put towards that very distance between them. Rather, another thought tugged forcefully upon her mind, the very same one that fueled her fears and echoed in her nightmares. Damon's name was softly uttered before she nibbled on her bottom lip in a small glimpse of uncertainty. Chizue waited only until she was certain that she had the man's attention before softly, she inquired after what remained of the coven that had so destroyed all of their lives. Although the warlock who had personally tortured her had been put to a violent death before her very eyes, it still hadn't yet assuaged the fears of the rest of his coven. Though they had never been terribly interested in her for any other reason beyond the leverage she provided them, she still was terrified they might, for some reason, come back for her.

A visible frown traced the girl's features at the audible sigh from the vampire beside her. How she so desired to be told that they were all gone and yet, the truth of the matter was anything but. "...world.....wide?" She inquired, repeating that very word with a soft squeak. It rattled her, the knowledge that she would never really be free of the coven that had taken her - that none of them could ever really be free. Her hands shifted to rest upon her arms, hugging herself in some effort to calm that frantic anxiety that so gripped her. She tried to let her head bob, to show that she appreciated Damon's efforts to be there for her and yet, that whispered voice in the back of her mind declared that, if they returned, she would undoubtedly be alone to face them. How long could she be gone before any of them noticed? Not that Chizue blamed them in the slightest. After all, the girl had all but recoiled from social life altogether and Damon and Isolt had their own marital bliss and....that child the coven had cursed Isolt with to handle.

Those dismal thoughts, however, were interrupted by the sound of Damon's voice and sluggishly her attention returned to the man beside her. A small, weak simper crossed her features at his offer for defense training, though the idea of it was perhaps just as frightening as the idea of being taken. Chizue was....passive, through and through. Rather, it was the man's offer for artifacts, however, that made her perk up, her head tilted to the side ever so slightly. Artifacts...to help her escape? "What sort of...artifacts?" Chizue inquired, glancing over towards him with some semblance of hope. Maybe....maybe that wouldn't be so bad.
