Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

This Time I'm Not Scared

I am not pleased with the pain. Perhaps I can find out from Uncle if there is some sort of potion I could drink that would make the change much easier. I do not find Frost's explanation that I am to continue feeling this pain for a while in such a pleased manner. I would rather find a cure to this side effect than experience it all over again. I wonder if changing into a smaller creature would be any better. Turning into a horse...a very big horse...is not easy and it sure isn't quite ideal. I do not like his cold tone when he slipped the word 'no' and I cannot help, but snort roughly in disdain. Black audits twitched side to side catching every sort of different sound that resonated within the barn. Shaking my head I attempted to rid myself of the different noises I was hearing. As Frost began to speak I would point my ears towards him attempting to focus on his voice alone and ignore all the other annoying sounds. Quietly I watch him as he shows off his ability to stand that correlated to his directions. Well he made it look easy, but I am quite sure it is anything but. I am quite certain I will fail at this. This is gonna suck.

I simply blink and look at the floor as I try to think and feel around my limbs, trying to feel out which was the right limb I wanted to work on first. Wiggling my forelegs in front of me I stare at them for a moment as I try to lean my weight on them. Thinking I leaned forward enough I attempt to push my out my hind limbs finding myself stuck. As I lean on my forelegs with my hind legs attempting to push me forward I let out a squeal as I feel myself fall over and slam my chest into the floor. With an irritated snort I shuffle my body to get myself back into square one. This time as I lean forward on my forelegs I move my hind legs slightly as I push them down and move myself slightly forward....but not too forward as last time, as I take one foreleg up and attempt to do it the second time, but I don't think I'm quick enough because I manage to lose grip of my hind limb and crash into the floor once more. Biting my teeth I shift myself back into square one as I quickly go through the steps and this time I don't think about it. Instead I follow through the motions once more, they are crude and not perfect, but I at least manage to push myself upwards feeling my legs shake at the sudden amount of weight I need to keep up. As my legs continue to shake with the new amount of weight I manage to lift my head slightly as I warily speak softly with hesitancy.

"So...this is the part when I fall down, right?"
