Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He notices the rather large Unicorn on her wall. Is that a .. blanket? He can't help but smirk a little at that. I guess you gotta make do with what you got. And why a Unicorn? Damn dude, she's more than just different. Not that he could do any better if he even had a place. Darien was living out of a damn backpack! Which he remembers he was still wearing and he slowly takes it off to place it beside his shoes, his eyes shifty and still unsure about all of this.

"Relax, make yourself at home!"

Seeing her wave him to what was the living room, he jumps like he was about to miss having his picture taken and quickly shuffles over, planting himself on her grey couch. Which, by the way, felt like heaven compared to the beds and chairs back at the Shelter. He keeps his arms folded, almost hugging himself for reassurance. All huddled awkwardly on the very corner of the sofa. He takes a moment to look around again, soaking in everything in this new environment. That, and to have something detailed to tell the police - you know, just in case. He still listens to her the entire time and when he hears her mention about boiling people into a stew and the very long pause that followed, he looks back at her to see a very stern and serious look on her face. His heart nearly jumps out of his throat ... until she finally can't keep it inside anymore and starts laughing like a crazy person.

She is infectious and her bubbly personality rubs off on him slightly, and he starts to laugh a little himself, raising a hand to cover and rub his eyes. "I'm sorry, that was such a stupid thing to ask." That saying, there is no stupid questions? Whatever! After his short little laugh, his hand goes back to being folded under his armpit and he actually leans back fully into the couch and he ponders her question. He remains twisted a little, so he can look back at her. "Am I suppose to have wings? Wait, do I? Is there something I'm suppose to do or say? And what the hell would I do with pixie dust?" He's dead serious, and actually a little concerned now.

He didn't want to say anything, but he can't help but look at the little piece of tissue hanging out her nostril. How did he ever find her threatening with that thing still there? And Unicorns on her walls, and kittens shitting rainbows on her shirts? She is a lot weirder than me. There was gonna be no better time than now to ask, right? "Why is your huh, your blood looks .. weird?"
