South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

This whole situation was something Henry didn't remember ever finding himself in...not that he would remember it even if he had been in a similar situation before. It was still scary and it made Henry want to fall within himself, wrapping himself in darkness so that nothing could find him and harm him. It was an uneasy feeling to be so unsure of the world around him.

While Henry was trying to make sense of everything in his mind, he sensed that the other male had either leaned or squatted to get more on his level. When his comforting hand touched his knee, Henry drew his eyes up to the stranger, giving him a warm look of thanks. This man didn't owe Henry anything and yet...here he was trying to help him get back on his feet. It was a gift that Henry wasn't sure he could accept. How would he ever repay such a debt?

When asked if he had anything in his pockets that could be used to help identify himself, Henry shoved his hands into each pocket, pulling out some items but fearing none would be very useful. Henry laid the following items on the ground in front of him: his used pack of cigarettes, the lighter, some lint, a few spare coins, and a set of keys. He wasn't sure what the keys were for (maybe an apartment or car...but he couldn't be for certain). "That's it, I'm afraid. I don't think it will be too much help." Henry wished he could produce something more substantial. He knew his name...but that was it. Perhaps the keys were a clue to who he was in this land. Maybe he had just hit his head really hard. Nothing could be said with any type of certainty.

Standing up, Henry brushed off his designer jeans and took a deep breath. Eyes looked around the park before settling on the male in front of him. He was a good looking fellow and Henry took a moment to subtly admire him. That's when Henry realized that he probably played for the other team. If his life wasn't confusing enough already, now he had to sort though his sexuality once more. Maybe it was just his current state of confusion that was making him question himself. Perhaps he did enjoy the company of another man. But regardless, Henry wasn't too worried. He was more concerned with figuring out what the fuck just happened to himself and how he was going to correct it.

Henry sighed as he ran his hand through his hair, knocking off the hood to his jacket. He shoved his hands in his pocket as he felt his stomach growl. How long had it been since he had last eaten anything? Leaning down, he picked up the items that he had pulled form his pocket and replaced them. He counted the money and noted that he had about two dollars in coins. Looking back up to the stranger, he asked a simple question. "Do you know any place I can get something to eat for a couple of bucks?" He wasn't sure how he would manage long-term, but at least he could try to locate something to eat for right now. Extending his hand to the male, he offered a more genuine greeting: a handshake. "I'm Henry, by the way."
