South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The exhaustion that had set in on the girl from the week long boat trip â€" she swore she would find them a flight back, rather than get back on the boat one more time â€" was only amplified by the hours of walking in the boiling heat. That he was teasing her had only added to her annoyance with him. After all, Edie was hardly a pleasant person when she was feeling tired, and by now she was grumpy and bothered by it all. She ignored his suggestion that it might somehow be good for her, instead choosing to strip down to the bare minimum of what she could modestly wear. She hardly cared when he commented on her likelihood of burning â€" her skin was remarkably pale, and her shoulders were already starting to turn pink anyway. "I don't care," She muttered, crossing her arms across her chest to avoid taking the shirt he tried to hand back to her. She'd just opened her mouth to protest further when he'd stepped away from her to assist the woman with the water.

It wasn't that he pulled away from her, no. In fact, she would have been annoyed with him if he'd not stopped to help the poor woman. The pale fox had focused on the man that had decided to harass the poor woman, wanting nothing more than to go after him. Had she not been exhausted from the heat, she likely would have. No, she was happy that he assisted. It was the looks the women gave him that bothered her, the looks combined with the words exchanged in a language that she was not familiar with. She didn't need to know what was said, it was clear. They were flirting with him. She saw the way that they gave him a once over, and the way one of them glanced over at her as though she was remarkably out of place. But what was worse was the way he seemed pleased by their words, that smirk that he usually reserved only for her being given so freely to them. Did he give that to anyone? She'd thought she was special to get that look, but now she wasn't so sure. It was enough to make her feel sick with jealousy, her gaze focused on the earth below them as the women walked away.

She knew he was interested in what had made her suddenly upset, though she found herself unable to vocalize it. How dare he drag her across the world and then give a look like that to someone else. Had they not just become more than merely lovers? Had she not expressed that she considered him her boyfriend? Had he not agreed that she was within the same rank to him? That combined with all the other anxiety was enough to make tears well in her eyes, and instead of expressing that the girl merely turned on her heels, shifting quickly to her animal form. She could tell in the way he spoke her name that he wasn't pleased with her shift, but the woman didn't care. No, being in her animal form was much better right now. And immediately with her shift, she felt better. Though she'd never been to Africa herself, her animal form seemed to handle the heat much better. She felt cooler immediately, and though she was still exhausted, she could handle it better here.

She was looking forward to trotting along beside him, the tiny fox darting around his feet easily. Though it was immediately swept away from her by his hand closing around her middle and lifting her quickly off the ground. The fox immediately growled, instinctively nibbling at his fingers as she was placed in the bag much like a small dog. It wasn't enough of a bite to hurt him, rather just let him know of her frustration. Still, the woman didn't reward him with any other reaction, instead scurrying up to rest her head on his shoulder so she could still look about the climate. His notion that shifting wasn't as readily accepted in front of humans was a foreign one. Sacrosanct was so open about it, and at home she rarely ran into anyone who wasn't Were. Had she not been past the breaking point on cranky, she likely would have apologized for her actions, though for now she was content to only reward him with a yawn to symbolize her boredom with the whole event.

The were girl had no desire to shift back, not when her Were form meant she got carried, and that she was rather annoyed with him in the first place. Still, she was willing to listen to him and take the water that he offered, never once showing any indication that she wanted to shift back. At least now as they passed natives, they didn't offer Kato any odd looks. How peculiar that a fox riding on his shoulder was less odd than a white girl. Still, Edie couldn't bring it in her to care at the moment, instead only focused on her annoyance at him. He'd drug her all the way across the world and had flirted with another girl in front of her. How was it going to be when they got to his pack? Would he ignore her entirely? Speak in a language foreign to her and laugh at her expense?

She'd just dozed off in the bag when they finally slowed to a halt, her body immediately jerking to attention as she was unceremoniously dumped onto the ground. The fox rolled, the animal immediately giving way to the brunette girl now that the sun was down. She ignored his questions, instead focusing on pulling the clothing she'd discarded back onto her body. "I don't have anything to say to you right now," Edie said very quietly, feeling the weight of his gaze on her. The tears that had threatened to spill earlier only welled up in her eyes once again. Now, if she wasn't so exhausted, she would have brushed off the whole event, enticing him to pay attention to her instead of another woman. But as it was, she was exhausted, and still reeling from the realization she was competing with a dead woman for his heart.

It took several moments before those tears spilled onto her cheeks, the woman scowling at the ground as she sat in the dirt. She didn't dare look up at him, convinced if she did it would only result in her crying full force. She was exhausted, and he had flirted with another woman right in front of her. "W-why did you bring me here, Kato. I... I know you needed to s-say goodbye to your wife, and I get that..." It was useless as she spoke, her tears spilling down her cheeks and a small sob working it's way into her voice. "But you just f-flirted with h-her right i-in front of me. I s-saw the way you looked at her. And I see the way they looked at me. I do-don't fit in here, and y-your family is going to see that, and then you're going to see that, and you won't w-want..." She didn't finish her sentence, the exhausting she felt giving way to hysteria as she let out a full blown sob, finally looking up at the man. "I'm i-in love with you, and you flirted w-with her i-in front of me."
