East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha couldn't help the grin that settled on her features at the man's insistence that he preferred to be a panther inside the club. "Don't like the attention?" She teased, playing with a lock of her hair that fell past her shoulders. What she didn't say aloud, however, was the way she'd silently agreed with them. Even though, truly, she hardly knew the man, she hadn't failed to notice how handsome he was. He had certainly been nothing like what she had expected when he'd stepped out of her bathroom as a human. Though really, Nadya was beautiful as well and it shouldn't have surprised her in the slightest. Still, the young faery was very, very aware of his looks. "It's okay, I don't like it much either. So many of the guys that come in here are such creeps. I don't love the attention."

"Downtown?" She raised an eyebrow as she darted after the boy towards the door to the burlesque. Truthfully, she was glad to be leaving the burlesque. She hardly wanted the fae girls to harass her during her next shift about what she was doing spending time with their boss' brother. Still, she hadn't expected her self-prescribed lessons to lead them downtown. She was more expecting him to tell her the ways of the supernatural world somewhere less exposed. "What exactly do you have in mind?"

She tucked her hands into the pockets of her hoodie as they emerged out of the burlesque and into the chilly night air. She shivered, looking up at him. "You know," She said with a small smile. "I used to always enjoy the cold until I was changed. Now I can't stand it." She shrugged. "Perhaps it's all in my head, but it just feels different, I suppose." She sighed to herself. "Everything is a little different. Maybe it's stuff that's typical for fae. But I have nothing to compare it to." She looked over at him once again. "You know, I've never asked. Were you born a were?"
