Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Samantha Cassidy

Samantha couldn't sleep in her bed, though if she was being honest she couldn't sleep at all. No, with sleep came hours of nightmares in which she watched her boyfriend die in front of her over and over and over again. As if the first time hadn't been bad enough. The more she slept, the more she relived the incident. And truly, why shouldn't she? It had been all her fault. Her own naivety had led them to this situation. She should have known better than to trust Frost, and yet... And yet she hadn't, and Aiden had lost his life over it. She should be miserable. She shouldn't be allowed to ever smile again. And she wouldn't allow it. She would never be happy again. She would make sure she always felt the guilt that ate at her. The guilt that should eat at her.

Because this was all her fault.

Somehow, she'd convinced Dorian to get out and go see Sebastian for the evening. It had been days since he'd left her side, and frankly the girl hated that he felt like he should be there. Not that she didn't love his presence - she did - but she didn't deserve his comfort. She didn't deserve any kind of comfort. This was all her fault. Aiden was dead, and it was her fault.

She'd promised Dorian when he left that she would take a shower - it had been days - and that she would eat something - of which it had been just as long. Samantha had managed a tiny smile as he'd left, reassuring him that she could handle both of those things. But really, she had no intentions of getting off the couch. No, she would sit in the dark and let those memories haunt her for hours until she fell asleep out of exhaustion. What else was there to do? Really? She didn't deserve anything else.

Because this was all her fault. Aiden was gone and it was all her fault.

She'd just about dozed off on the couch when she heard that heavy rapping at the door. She tensed, instantly wanting to curl under the pile of blankets on the couch and hide away from whatever it might be. And for several moments, she did just that. But it was rude... it was so rude to ignore whoever would be at the door, even if she couldn't think of a single soul she'd be happy to see. None of them were Aiden. None of them were the man she was in love with. She would never see him again.

Still, she got herself up to her feet and moved towards the door. She kept that heavy blanket around her shoulders and allowed it to trail behind her as she moved. It took her several moments to undo the lock and get the door open, and even then she just stared ahead at the man that stood on the threshold. Troy? She hadn't seen him since that night on the beach. She hadn't even realized that he knew where she lived, and she couldn't fathom why he might be here now.

"Troy," She said softly as she stepped back, allowing him entrance to her home. "What are you doing here?"
