Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
What's this? What's this?! There's sweetness everywhere! What's this? What's this?! It's covering my fruittt....okay maybe that didn't quite go according to tune but it was certainly exciting enough that Abby surely would have tried to sing to it all the same. Just look at it! It was sugar! And fruit! Together in some marriage of...of holy fruitrimony! She squeaked. I mean, it was the least she could do considering all this amazingness that was surrounding her at the moment, and on tongue, and her paws, and like..yum! Abigail was far too content to busy herself with this fruit if it wasn't for someone suddenly turning EMO on her. What?! Leave him by himself for Christmas!? That'd be terrible! Then she'd be alone for Christmas too! And then they'd both be sad apart when they could just be happy together! See! She had a good reason for this! Well, I mean, that was kind of her reason all along, she was a littleee bit selfish and hadn't wanted to be alone. Still, Abby was more than willing to show him that she was in this for the long haul, after her paws were thoroughly licked of all the sugar, that is. Nevertheless, once she had enjoyed every bit of that succulent taste, Abby was perhaps a bit too eager to dive into that box of ornaments, entirely falling over in the process in a flurry of flailing legs and whipping tail.

It was with care and a good dose of determination that Abigail dragged that first box of ornaments in front of him, the edge of it only slightly worse for wear in the grasp of her teeth. Who cares about boxes anyways?! It was those pretty little ornaments that counted! See! Look at those little reindeer faces! YOU CAN'T RESIST THEM, ARLO! Her tail wiggled from side to side, in spite of the vampire's insistence that she shouldn't get her tail in a knot (which, really she should hope not! That would hurt!). A purring sort of squeak left her lips as he gave in to spending Christmas with her. Frankly, she kind of liked the idea of being stuck with him, as he had put it. Though, she didn't quite dwell on it all that long. Rather, her head nuzzled into his hand as he ruffled her fur, that grin was enough to make her tiny little heart beat just a touch faster. God. Stop. Looking. At. Her. Like. That. No wait, don't stop just...tone it down...a touch. This was too much feels. A soft breath of relief left her lips as he turned away from her and towards the tree, and for a moment, Abby shoved another small piece of fruit within her mouth before waddling towards the edge of the table. Her butt wiggled ever so slightly as she prepared for that jump, launching herself into the air to land with a soft thud onto the ground. TADA! Acrobat skill level: Amaze!

The girl ran as much as her species could towards the bottom of that tree, her hazel eyes turned upwards towards him as he eyed the tree, and yet, she was quite clearly pleased with her prized possession, even if it wasn't exactly as sturdy as it should have been. She watched as he slide a few of those picked out decorations from his bad, sliding them upon the branches. It was silly really, how a Christmas tree with those plastic ornaments so managed to induce an awestruck look on the panda's features, as if she'd never seen anything quite as beautiful as their mismatched tree. It was breathtaking to her - the first Christmas she'd ever shared with a man that wasn't her father. That made her sound young didn't it? Hm....let's..not think about that. Rather, it was the sound of his voice that distracted her as he hoisted her small body up in his hand. It took her a moment of careful consideration before the panda shoved her paw out in the direction she wanted that glistening slowflake to go. Towards the top and center! For everyone to see her handiwork! It was like the star on their tree! IT WAS PERFECT.

Slowly, the girl was lowered to the floor as the man at her side riffled through the bag to pull out another of those ornaments, only to find herself picked back up. Wee!!! A squeak left her lips, girl entirely delighted to continue to assist in her prettification of the Christmas Tree. She was quite certain it looked utterly amazing, way better than anyone else's Christmas Tree. She glanced up at him as he stepped away, her tail swishing from side to side in a fashion more akin to a delighted canine than anything else. A chirp left her lips in agreement as he stated that their tree looked fairly good, before she turned to glare at him at the notion that SHE had STOLEN this tree. Huff! How dare he! This was HER Christmas Tree. It'd taken real effort to bring it there for him to find! A soft gruff left her lips as he claimed he was teasing her, that affectionate phrase, however, so chased away any true disgruntlement she might have had. Well....as long as he was just teasing... suspicious look ensues. That sudden jolt of gravity caused the girl to flail ever so slightly, hardly anticipating the way in which the man settled back upon that sofa.

She settled as soon as he landed on the couch, her paws guiding her in a circle before she flopped against his chest in a fashion entirely alike his. See, she could play copy cat! She was careful to ensure she hardly touched his owwie, her hazel eyes staring intently at him as he commented on how festive she expected of him. If she was human, there was a very good chance she'd be grinning from ear to ear. He might not be willing to sing but she sure could! Bark bark bark! Bark bark bark! Bark bark barrrkk bark bark! See! Jingle bells! Oh yeah, she's got this! She collapsed back upon his chest, the purring sound that reverberated in her throat now more akin to her amusement at herself than anything else. Her head tilted suddenly, matching his as he swore she knew what he was saying. Well, duh she knew! But she wasn't going to tell him that now, was she?! Lord only knows what would happen if he found out! She blinked back at him simply before he inquired about the fruit. FRUIT?! OH YEAH! DELICIOUSNESSSSSS, YOU ARE NEEDED!
