Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

The vampire's indigo gaze stared at that tapestry on the wall with vague intrigue, even if vastly more of his attention was directed to the man at his side. His question, it seemed, caused his lover to pause ever so slightly and yet, the response he was given was not entirely unsurprising. Sebastian had found that, in that moment, he'd entirely forgotten the years Dorian had spent within these halls without any such visitors. This was, perhaps, a ritual he had done but for that singular presence of Matteo alone. A small frown traced his lips as his head bobbed, hardly inclined to voice any further observation upon the topic. After all, Dorian's imprisonment was one of those conversational pieces in which the undead soul had learned to dance around, lest he invited that discontent within the King he so cherished. After all, Lord only knew that Sebastian had his own affairs he often avoided discussing in the slightest. This was but the least he could do for the King. It was the announcement of that page boy that saw him turn from his inspection of those colored threads and yet, Sebastian found himself entirely taken back by the French fae that so smoothly strode within that very room.

A glimpse of confusion crossed the vampire's features as he eyed the features of the man before him. It was blatant to him, the similarities between Dorian and Matteo - from the scent that surrounded him to their very physical likeness. A small frown crossed his lips and yet, that intense speculation, however, was interrupted only by that hand that was outstretched to him and the voice that so enthusiastically greeted him. Sebastian firmly placed his hand within that of the French fae, assuring the man that it was entirely his pleasure, even despite that near pause of Matteo's voice that had sent the vampire's thoughts entirely spiraling down an entirely different rabbit hole. Dorian's suggestion that they might return to that parlour and the beverages that awaited them was greeted with ready agreement, the vampire falling in step behind his lover. Those whispered words of Matteo's voice and well that look of impishness that crossed the Lord's features was enough to cause a snort to leave his nose, though he hardly saw fit to comment on it further. Rather, Sebastian settled in the chair beside the Monarch, reaching forward to take his own cup of tea and, entirely enjoying the warmth of it nestled within his long fingertips.

It was that mention of the world that so laid at their feet for the taking that saw the vampire hesitate, his darkly hued gaze momentarily met the silver ones of his lover as he mentioned in a certain measure of vagueness of that Spanish city the vampire so adored. He certainly desired to show Dorian the world he spent the majority of his life simply roaming, and yet, even he somehow doubted the feasibility of it. After all, Sebastian was scarcely the only soul within his lover's life. He had, thus far, tried to share the King. He'd tried to understand of Samantha's importance within Dorian's world, even going so far as to spend days away from the man whilst she monopolized his time. After this, however, he abhorred the notion of returning to that city, to returning to his bed alone. Still, he tried not to let such dismal thoughts show, much less linger even in his tone as he offered a small dismissive shrug, entirely letting the Monarch himself decide what he wished with his newfound freedom from these glorious walls of Caserta.

Dorian's words that she would come around were certainly met with a sensation of dubiousness and yet, scarcely a word left the vampire's lips, even despite that scowl he observed upon Dorian's features. Instead, he allowed that conversation to simply gloss over that singular detail as Dorian began to utter with such eagerness and delight of all those things the pair had done over the past few months. Sebastian sipped upon that warm tea, a small simper crossed his features as he simply watched his lover in that moment. There was little doubt that in that simple glance, those concerns of Samantha, that inevitable return to Sacrosanct, the upcoming plethora of meetings and perhaps every other stressor had become decidedly absent, over taken entirely by the Englishman's love for his companion. His gaze shifted only by the sound of Matteo's voice, the vampire wholly pleased, in a fashion, that he had at least given his lover a plethora of experiences to speak of in those months they'd spent together.

It was, however, that last assurance that Dorian's roommate wouldn't be an issue that even saw the vampire's attention shift to the man across from him, a small frown gracing his features. It certainly sounded, in theory, certainly a dream come true and yet, even Sebastian couldn't help that brush of concern that filled him. He might not have been terribly fond of the fae girl but she hardly deserved any ill will. He sat up just a bit straighter, vastly more attentive now to that man he was entirely assured was Dorian's father. He doubted, sincerely, that the Frenchman had placed the girl in any harm, especially considering how much she meant to the Monarch and yet, the vagueness of it all still worried him. That huff they were provided caused his eyebrows to furrow ever so slightly and yet, the more he simply stared at the Lord before him, the more he found himself once again struck by the similarities between the man and his boyfriend. Still, he was drawn to trust the man all the same. That insight in which his companion provided him slowly caused his eyebrows to raise ever so slightly. "Well, that explains a lot..." He commented, clearly musing on all those instances that were now far more reassuring than what he had considered the truth to be.

His indigo eyes fluttered towards the Frenchman as he began to elaborate upon that affinity and yet, that inquiry Matteo had for him brought a warm simper to his features. He could hardly help the fashion at which his gaze slid towards his lover at that choked sound that left his lips, and yet, he supposed it was peculiar to consider himself something as lowly as a farmer. That amused twitch never once left his features as his head shook ever so slightly, "No, I am not. I am an entrepreneur. I own coal mining operations across twelve different countries." He commented, simply enough. It was the first time the vampire truly admitted how exactly his fortune continued to grow - even if it was still wholly meager in comparison to Dorian's newly discovered wealth. "Her majesty granted my family the right to own deer on several of our estates, it was, at the time, a show of wealth, and favor, naturally." Still, he found it decidedly inquisitive that the future so showed itself but in deer, almost as if even fate was on his side to impress upon the Frenchman that this was a particularly beneficial match, once the knowledge of what the presence of those deer meant.

Sebastian fell silent then as his lover inquired to a question that had quite clearly been weighing upon his mind - Matteo's silence in regards to his lover's wellbeing. He watched with a tinge of inquisitiveness as Matteo promised to offer them the truth, his head tilting to the side ever so slightly as it habitually did when he found something worth his study. He watched as the man took off his sunglasses, the sight of those same silver hued eyes was enough to produce a small frown upon his features, his eyebrows furrowing once again. As if the resemblance was not anymore blatant, that simple sight alone one which reassured Sebastian beyond a doubt of that which he'd so been contemplating for nearly days now. Still, the Englishman could hardly help the way in which those simple words produced a grin upon his features, his gaze immediately turned towards his lover's own. It was entirely relieving to know that Matteo was assured Sebastian brought his son happiness, after all, was that not what most parents wanted for their children? That he had achieved just that was enough to make a soft breath of relief leave the vampire's lips. Any tenseness and anxiety that had been there before somehow evaporated at that simple sentence. Still, this notion of a gift meant for them both was entirely inquisitive to the man.
