Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

When Amelia had offered for him to move in with her, she had hoped he would answer without hesitation. While she had a feeling he already had an answer for her, he was choosing to draw out the suspense. He supposed that they deserved a little humor in their life especially now that things had grown so serious, so quickly. In the course of a couple of hours, they had gone from Amelia thinking she was dying...to finding out she was pregnant...to her asking him to move in with her. So much had happened that it was almost too much for Amelia to even comprehend.

But she and Troy had handled it with a sense of grace that she had not thought possible. He hadn't run away from her like she had half expected him to. Not because she thought his character incapable of remaining at her side...but more so because this had all happened so fast. She knew he would need time to adjust to it all. But he had done well and she wanted to tell him how much she appreciated everything he had done for her.

When he agreed to live with her, it made her heart so happy. She was so happy that he wanted to be a part of this time in their lives and that he was still willing to be with her. When she told him that she would prefer he live here as her boyfriend instead of her roommate, she had expected him to say an offhanded comment about the boyfriend part having better amenities or benefits. But when he said that he hoped that soon they would be something a little more permanent, she smiled up at him. She kissed him longingly as her hands entwined in his hair. She leaned forward in his lap, feeling exactly what she was poised on top of. "I would like that very much." She told him as she slowly leaned back to look him in the eye. Knowing that he would be there for the duration of his child's life was something that made her very, very happy. Not to mention, she knew she couldn't get enough of him so the idea of him sticking around for the long-haul was a good one.

When he spoke again, she could not help the smile that crossed her features. She kissed him again, this time with increasing amounts of desire. She couldn't keep her hands off Troy. When she finally broke the kiss, she whispered softly into his ear. "I love you, Troy." She hadn't been brave enough to say those words to him yet, but she couldn't find any other words to explain how she felt. This man meant more to her than her own life. She couldn't imagine going through the rest of her life without him.
