Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The golden-haired Hunter felt one eye raise in mild curiosity at Serafina's sudden announcement that she had, in fact, met the fabled Tobias before. The witch doing little to shift Azrael's opinion of the creature and his utter lack of anything even remotely redeeming with that tale of his efforts to eat some other witch before apparently failing to forgive Serafina for freezing him. Hmmm. Truly Azrael found himself inclined to believe Serafina had been entirely right in using her powers on that occasion even if he rarely found himself condoning their use at any other time. His own features frowned softly in that further consideration, his hands effortlessly guiding that steering wheel around the bend in the road before any further thought on the matter was abruptly ended by that singular utterance of his own nickname drawn almost teasingly from his girlfriend's lips. Several months of their relationship having assured him that Sera only ever used that tone of voice when she wanted something from him, she had caused some sort of trouble or else wanted him to do something he was unlikely to enjoy and yet inevitably ended up doing all the same if only for his inability to resist her on most occasions. Azrael glancing away from the road again to eye her almost warily then, the Hunter well aware that whatever words came next were likely to be some attempt at persuasion.

"Yeeeeeees?"

He offered simply in return, his lip quirking slightly at that mimicked sweetened tone he afforded her in a rare moment of playfulness that surely displayed his relatively good mood all the same, his attention remaining almost expectantly on her now. He had hardly expected that mention of Tobias again, let alone some ludicrous idea that he was going to marry Raven. Azrael momentarily considering whether or not the idiot leopard was even capable of understanding what marriage was let alone proposing. The Hunter failing utterly to connect those dots in that moment of just what his own girlfriend's role was in those apparently upcoming nuptials. Azrael eyeing her once more as she suddenly lent closer before announcing she intended on planning that wedding. The Hunter scowling readily in response, his lips parting to comment on how ridiculous an idea that was and why on earth Raven was not capable of planning her own wedding before that sudden request for him to accompany her to a Were-wedding seemed to stall him once more. Surprise finding his features then. Did she truly expect him to attend a wedding of those....creatures? Her hand upon his thigh saw those thoughts derail once more, the man far more aware of those warm fingers then he cared to admit as that teased that pattern upon his inner thigh. That faint touch alone already beginning to stir some physical reaction from the man- one that was only furthered by her leaning all the closer. That whispered promise no more than a warmth breathe against his ear as she playfully nipped against the lobe. Azrael swerving that car quite un-intentionally in response before hurriedly correcting it. The Hunter frantically attempting to re-align his thoughts from that far more intimate place they had travelled to in that singular moment.

"Sera! Oh- alright, alright, we can go. I'm holding you to that promise though."

That, he was entirely sure, was cheating. The woman knowing entirely well he could hardly resist her at the best of times, let alone when he was driving! His lip quirking slightly all the same at that assurance he wasn't about to forget that promise to enjoy her between those sheets afterwards. Azrael momentarily considering whether or not such an event counted as the 'something fancy' she wanted to go to. A Were Wedding. Great.

"Do we have to get them a present or something?"

He queried in-between assuring her she could keep that book. Azrael unable to remember the last time he'd even been to a wedding, let alone a Were one. Did they have normal weddings? Azrael already determined he wasn't about to participate in any sort of ridiculous pack ceremony nonsense. Sera' sudden assurance she would give him a full report of that book so thankfully distracting his thoughts again as he nodded. Azrael shifting in his seat in some effort to attempt to make himself comfortable again after Serafina's touch had so managed to coax certain parts of his physique into an almost uncomfortable alertness. The Hunter answering that query on just what was in that package from Jack almost absentmindedly before that further questioning drew his attention as the car crested that hill and rolled smoothly onto the highway. A snort of amusement prompted from him then at that query of 'GPS-ing supernaturals.' Serafina so rarely asked any questions about his work even despite her knowledge of just what he did, the man hardly blaming her for not seeking those details in any sense and yet he found he hardly minded indulging that curiosity. His head shaking easily then.

"The GPS is purely for me, sometimes when I'm in pursuit of someone I don't get the chance to pay attention to where I am or where I'm going. I often don't know where I end up. I use the GPS for exactly that- locating where I am. Since the one Jack made me can handle the speeds I move at it also lets me know of other trails I can take, upcoming forests, lakes- things like that I need to know quickly."

His shoulders lifted into a shrug of sorts, the Hunter assured his girlfriend was entirely capable of understanding the reasons why knowing what terrain her was about to hit was important. That GPS allowing him to navigate those areas those he was chasing often knew far better then himself. The man slowing the car then to pull into the festival ground he had planned for the day.

"We do have tracking devices though, a few different ones. We can attach trackers or hack phones if we need to. Any Werehorse that is property of the Mounted Division has a microchip so we can keep track of them. Things like that."

There was little harm in informing her of those technologies as far as he was concerned. The man content to dismiss any further thoughts of work then as he led the way into that festival. Azrael decidedly outside his comfort zone and yet he was...willing to be as such, if only for the look of delight that seemed to find his girlfriend's features then. The man allowing himself to be led to those more traditional outfits, Azrael eyeing that black dress with vague curiosity before commenting on that lack of figure it would surely result in. Serafina's laughter prompting that soft smile from himself before the idea of those far skimpier Halloween outfits seemed to distract his thoughts. Azrael entirely content to picture just how she might look in one of those before he found himself being tugged toward another store- that ridiculous hat still resting upon his head. His own Hunter senses readily engaged if only to assure himself that hat had no magical properties (just in case). The very idea of 'going native' prompting another frown from the man. While he might have been entirely willing to picture his girlfriend in those more classical Halloween outfits the idea of her reverting entirely to those stereotypical witch fashions and 'free living' was perhaps not an idea he was nearly so eager to embrace. His thoughts considering those unshaven hippies he had seen more than once in that moment before Sera's near teasing words drew his gaze back to the woman. That uttered promise to keep herself freshly shaven everywhere for him stirring a genuine grin to his lips then, his hand reaching out to catch her own before she could run off again, Azrael tugging her gently back against him until her back rested against his hard chest. His head dipped easily, his lips pressing teasingly to her neck in that rare show of public affection, those words loud enough for the woman alone to hear.

"You have no idea how much I enjoy the sound of that. You're going to have to stop if you want to see the rest of this festival though- because I'm going to take you home otherwise."

He chuckled softly then, the man gently releasing her with that singular promise and a raise of his eye before she seemed to find herself distracted all over again by a....crystal ball? His own apprehension was surely clear, the witch sitting behind that stall attempting to conceal her amusement as Azrael eyed her with a clear disdain- one near equally matched by that glass ball that seemed to grow cloudier by the minute. That ball seeming to change in colour beneath Sera's touch as Azrael moved further away from it. His mistrust of those magical artefacts so deeply ingrained that he made near no effort to hide his apprehension for it. Azrael hardly anticipating Sera's hand to reach for him and tug him back towards the object of his disdain. Her assurance it was only used to 'Scryer' hardly alleviating his own dislike for it. What in the fuck scrying was he hardly knew- nor did he truly have any desire to find out. His girlfriend's assurance it was used to find 'unconscious' thoughts only seeing the man frown more before that suggestion he should touch it saw his gaze narrow decidedly.

"What....will it do, exactly?"

He hardly trusted that glowing orb not to surround him somehow. His fear of those magical artefacts prompting that further hesitation. He trusted Serafina. That glowing orb was another matter entirely. That indecision decidedly clear on his features, his desire to argue grinding against him before he finally released that soft exhale. His jaw setting firmly.

"Fine- but if I turn into a goat or something fucking ridiculous I will be very unimpressed."

His free hand reached out then, the man warily resting it against that crystal ball as if anticipating some sort of electric shock. His entire frame tense- even after several seconds. His golden gaze turned back to the woman then almost expectantly.

"Well? Am I supposed to see something? Wait- how many people can see whatever it is you see?"

After all- his unconscious thoughts had been entirely dedicated to considering Sera herself in those far more risqué Halloween costumes, let alone just what he might like to do with her. That slight note of....concern finding his voice then. God. Was that what she was about to see?
