Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Tetradore's assurance that the woman within had surely heard them now sees nothing short of a beaming grin trace the boys feline features, much the same grin still given to expose every semi-pointed fang of his leopard dentistry as the door opens, the vampire woman treated to this bizarre smile before the boy merely proceeds to march promptly inside, hauling his giant bag behind him. For a moment the dark eyes of the creature linger upon Nadya, the pregnant woman offered a lop-sided grin of sorts before those fathomless dark pools proceed to travel the length of her, lingering upon her belly for several moments, her ever increasing size a topic of intense fascination for the young man as his head simply tilts ever so slightly, almost as if he merely listens for a sound he expects to hear before lips part to mutter to himself, words seeming to hold no real meaning before proceeding to drag his haul of presents over to the tree Tetra was attempting to make stand, Isolt's assurance that decorating would come after eating seeming to delight him all the more, oblivious to his companions sarcasm in regards to the impending disaster the shaggy-haired deviants form of decorating surely would be. For a few moments still the man is merely content to watch his Leader fuss over the tree, eyeing the finished product with an evidently critical eye from somewhere beneath that unruly mop of hair, fingers lifting to fiddle with the jacket he had been near wrestled into despite his continued attempts to vocalise how entirely 'not hot' he had been.

His Leader's distraction in this moment is readily seized upon, long fingers nimbly removing his jacket before proceeding to stuff it beneath a couch cushion (a hiding place he is sure Tet won't look in) a snicker of sorts hissing between his lips before the boy dutifully returns to his bag of presents. He does not understand the holiday entirely, more so, has merely set about replicating the events of his childhood, repeating exactly the actions he had seen others perform all those years ago, almost as if he remains entirely oblivious to the time that has existed between then and now. He perceives only that Christmas involves trees, food and presents, his childish mind incapable of understanding the why or how of such an action, merely perceiving only that this is what is done, features frowning slightly once more before Nadya and Isolt are fixed with a glare.

"You...have too both...stand here....and here."

One finger moves to point at two spaces beside the undecorated tree, Tobias clearly assured that everyone must remain within their designated location, the places in which everybody sits or stands clearly of some importance to the deviant. The barefooted boy reaches eagerly for his presents now, eyes narrowed momentarily towards Tetradore lest the other man attempt to move from his designated location before the young man busies himself once more, evidently assured that now is the time for present giving, the first package to be pulled from his bag a rather...flat seeming gift, wrapped entirely within what is very clearly a bath towel. Wrapping paper, it would seem, has failed to register within his understanding. This gift is handed promptly to Isolt, the shaggy haired half-leopard waiting only long enough for her to unwrap the bath towel it has been swathed within to reveal what is very clearly......a very risqué set of cat-themed lingerie, complete with small black ears and tail to match the lacy black undergarments.

"Now...you can be....in pack....because you...are a cat too- like us."

It is a surprisingly....thoughtful gift, to a certain extent, the boy clearly oblivious as to in what way this may be inappropriate, understanding only that he has given her the cat ears and tail she is lacking, some part of his mind having remembered, it would seem, her worries from the day they had met- that she was not like them, that she was not like pack- Tobias content to rectify this before returning to his bag once more. The next present has been wrapped in what is evidently the missing shower curtain from Tetradore's private bathroom, this oddly shaped gift handed to Nadya, waiting for the woman to peel through the folds to reveal what is evidently a bag filled with a very vast collection of...shoes. Nadya's love for footwear has clearly not gone unnoticed by the deviant and yet the nature of the shoes she enjoys has seemingly been missed, the boy having failed to do anything other then collect twenty or so different shoes, stolen from a vast variety of men and women alike to be presented in this, the ultimate collection, to the woman before him, the young man grinning rather proudly with his work despite the fact there are even less matching pairs within.

"Because...Naddy...likes shoes."

Well. It's surely the thought that counts. The boy returns to the bag a final time now, producing the only present that seems to have been wrapped in actual wrapping paper, the box hardly neat and yet....that evident effort has been put forth is surely clear, the rather large box handed now to his leader, waiting for Tetradore to unwrap the brand new (security tags from being stolen still in place) PlayStation 4, complete with several games.

"It is...a...game player.....and I am not...allowed....in the shopping place....anymore."

That he had evidently made some attempt to actually shop is perhaps remarkable in itself, even Isolt's gift still befitting of price tags the boy had seen no need to remove during his shop lifting activates- that he had evidently been banned from the local mall is perhaps...unsurprising, grinning once more before his features suddenly shift, frowning slightly before reaching back into the bag for a single and final item. For a moment the young mans seems almost....uneasy in this regard, frustration etching across his features, struggling, it would seem, to find his next words as he turns to Nadya once more, offering her the two small soft toys, one a small toy panther, the other a small, soft toy leopard.

"For...the....kittens."

He simply moves to press them gently into her hands clearly....unsure about such a gift, his ability to even perceive the existence of such children is a difficult concept and yet perhaps, it would seem some part of himself is willing to acknowledge it, the gangly young man meeting her gaze momentarily. One present, at least.....he has gotten right.

"I'm hungry...now."

He never could focus for very long, clearly assured that, gifts given, it is now time to eat, attention turned expectantly to Isolt.

madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push
