Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

i'd give up all my tomorrows to be here with you

Walk off the world just to follow
Through every waking hour
Through all that time devours

Mira enjoyed him like this, even in the wake of such tragedy. She hardly expected for Tetradore to offer his blessing in using that name she had once thought he banished simply because he loathed it. He was like a new man to her, with a new name.. Perhaps more predominantly because he was hers. It seemed to satisfy her inner wolf. The newfound relationship status was an entirely curious thing to her. One she was especially curious of the changes that would follow. Would there be any? Tetradore asked her to keep that name away from the pack. Like a cherished secret. "But anywhere else? I think I can manage this." She smiled at the thought of it. It meant... far more to her than he probably realized... to be included and separate from the rest. She was not merely just pack to him, she was something other. A being in its own category that blurred his two worlds.

Her gaze shifted unable to help but notice that the sheets revealed his chiselled physique. She would not get tired of that sight. Could she not appreciate what was now hers? However, it was the allure of pancakes.... Of breakfast that seemed to stir the were's into action. Oh food sounded so good right now, she was starving. The time for questions it seemed, was over.. For now at least. But there was..... One other thing. She noticed how Aiden moved toward his old pair of jeans. Perhaps now was time to reveal what she had salvaged. Last night was hardly the night for this.

Mira was swift to shift toward the duffel bag, to place it at the foot of the bed. She noticed his intrigue, as he strode over to her, yesterday's jeans still in tow. Her words drew his attention upon her. First...sitting upon the top wrapped securely in her jacket he bought her, she revealed the lego Bugatti. She raised her intricate golden eyes to gauge his reaction. She was excited to show him. It was easy to abandon those jeans before he reached for that car he had devoted so much time to diligently piecing together. Mira could hardly help that hopeful subtle upturn of her lips as he examined it closely, as if to make sure it was still intact. His words were soft yet the disbelief was still there. "I couldn't just abandon it, now could I?" She began unpacking some of the other things, placing them with purpose upon the dresser. They deserved to see the light of day again. They were safe and so were they. Each item seemed to be handled equally delicate as she fished them out of the large bag that surprisingly held more than she thought she could fit in there enough. Sure there was a lot lost.. But... it was not everything.

Tetradore was quick to slide his watch upon his wrist, soon followed by the rosary beads. Mira was astutely aware of the frequency in which he wore them. She knew the watch belonged to his father. Surely there were some items she missed, if only she could have salvaged more.. By the time she had finished... the ship was in severe shape. She hardly needed his thanks and yet it was the reassuring press of his lips that spoke his appreciation and to bed those worries. "Its a start." She admitted prompting some kind of internal resoluteness. Mira returned to the duffel bag to pluck a few articles of clothing from them. It would appear that even though she had been diligent... but not enough to remember to pack socks. "Damnit..I forgot the socks.." She uttered almost amused by that notion. The pair got dressed. She took a moment to make sure she was presentable, having ducked away into the washroom for a few moments to feel that sense of normalcy.

The pair emerged from the room. It was quiet save for the sounds that emanated from the kitchen. Tetradore led the way through the home he clearly knew well. It was when she saw the French fae, Aiden began to speak... what she thought was meant to be a greeting. She offered the fae a smile before her face dropped to a look of horror. No he was not going to tell him....Yes he was. Mira's eyes grew wide. Clearly... he was just toying with her.. He didn't mean to actually tell him! "No, it seems like Aiden has no idea what he is talking about." She attempted to drop the hint but Tetradore was nothing but determined in this. She was near desperate to find a way to silence him, the she-wolf moved quickly, the only thing she could think of was to attempt to cover his lips, as though she could stifle the words before they betrayed her! She looked triumphant for a flash of a second a chuckle escaped him as if he found the ordeal amusing.

Tetradore moved with purpose, with far too much ease that she hardly stood a chance against the were-king himself. He grabbed her gently by the arms and yet he was far stronger than her as he spun her into him, followed closely by his arms that encased into a strong hug. It pinned her arms helplessly at her side. It would have felt nice to be held in that lover's hold if she could silence those words that seemed determined to leave him. Ah, too hell with it. Her defeat was clear and yet there was one last hope! Like the Fae would obey her in this, his intrigue probably far too invested to find out what his son had to say now that she had been so determined to keep it quiet. "Cover your ears, Matteo! Cover them right now!" She huffed, in no position to make any kind of demands as she sulked near comically within Tetradore's arms, eager to share with his father what he found to be... hysterical.

"So glad to be your entertainment this morning." She huffed indignantly, that sarcasm clear as her golden gaze shifted from Matteo to the face that lingered beside her cheek. At least he was smiling, even if it was at her own expense... She expected the same reaction that the were-king had when he heard.

She shook her head, unable to hide her own smile that threatened her own lips as she was suddenly released from that hold. She had almost forgotten the all too delicious scents that all but swirled around the kitchen. "What are you making?" That hungry wolf was all too curious.

The alpha simply padded toward the island to perch himself upon one of those barstools. "I can make mimosas. If anyone wants one?" Mira offered, having finally recovered it would seem. It was an acceptable breakfast drink after all and it would seem... the bartender had not left the girl... even though the bar did. Tetradore inquired about a charger, Mira moved to slide next to him having noticed a picture of a cargo ship upon the screen. "Are we looking at new ships?" She questioned curiously.
