Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

That time in the woods was much needed. The WereCoyote stretched her arms in appreciation as she strode back through the trees, grabbing for the backpack she kept hidden in a hollow tree that had some spare clothes in it. She would need it before she hit the tree line unless she wanted to get arrested....again. The first time wasn't fun, especially when the uniformed guy shot her with that electric thingy. It really fricking hurt. She even got scars from it. Good thing Frost was able to sweet talk the officers into letting her go pretty quickly, something about her being raised in a nudist colony and not being told about the outside world. She honestly couldn't believe the officers bought his story and of course, he refused to tell her what a nudist colony was when she asked. Typical guy.

So this time she would try to be more discreet and change before she came out into the open. Now unless there were any stray hikers in the area, she should be free and clear. Smirking to herself as she slipped on the shorts and tank top, Malia rolled her neck one more time to get out the kinks before making her way into Sacrosanct and toward the pack house. She'd only stayed gone a couple weeks this time. Last time, it was almost a month that she hid out in the woods. She called it camping trips, but really it was just an excuse to get away from the human world and recharge. She would shift into her Were form and live like an animal for a little while, or at least until she got bored. Then she'd shift back and return to human life like nothing happened. It was working for her, at least mostly.

As she closed the door behind her, the hairs on the back of her neck stood at attention and she stiffened. Something was different. She didn't know what or even how she knew, but she definitely knew. Tossing her backpack at the nearest chair, the Were made her through the house investigating and came to a couple conclusions. One, there was a new pack members, an unfamiliar scent that filled her nostrils around one of the rooms in the house. A guy, from the smell, but that was about all she could tell of the empty room. A scowl pulled at her lips before she moved on to the other rooms.

When she got to Nadya's room, it was eerily quiet outside the door. Where was the screaming from the kids? Were they at the baby sitter's or something? And why wasn't she picking up on her friend's scent? Opening the door slowly, Malia gasped and grabbed the door frame in her surprise. It was empty. No toys and clothes strewn across the room. The bed was made, almost as if no one had ever been there. The closet was empty. What....where....why. Her head was spinning and she immediately let out a scream that sounded halfway like a howl. FROST!" Her fingers dug into the door frame on either side of her as she sucked in heavy breaths. The wood started to chip and groan beneath her grip, but she could only stare at the empty room, puzzled, wounded, confused.
