Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Conceivably one could consider it a blessing that the scarred lupine had managed to crawl out of the hellhole without any damage done to her good spirit. She was considerate. It was difficult to see if there was a selfish bone in her body. Always she was thinking of others performing acts or services for their benefit. She hadn't really taken the time to focus on herself and we could find that as a terrible thing. But she wasn't doing anything purposeful in her life and maybe everyone should just leave her be. Allow the girl the chance to spread benevolence to others. This world could use a few more saints, because there were far too many sinners. Part of her kindness was being tailored by her lack of support around her. She was a creature that strived to be a part of something, that missing core of pack was nothing but an empty void and her mind was trying to fix it as best as it could. The notion of being a part of a pack was a terrifying thing and even though she wasn't willing to submit to Lucian's offer she still desired some sort of closeness with others. She had received that from Tobi, Alexis, and Nadya and perhaps if she could trust the newborn Isolt might fit into that fold. Maybe.

Knowing full well that Alexis may not take too kindly to their guest, and knowing Isolt was feeling rather uncomfortable she was going to attempt to create some sort of safe place for the two. There were far more things she was afraid of then having a newborn vampire live amongst them. Once more that kind-heartedness side of her was overpowering any and all selfish needs. Seeing Alexis being polite she gave the woman an encouraging nod quite proud of the skittish girl until she opened her mouth with that comment. For the first time, perhaps in a long time, that kind façade turned into a stern scowl, blue-grey eyes narrowed, silently scolding the woman. One hand would gently touch Isolt's shoulder in a reassuring manner as she took a step forward towards Alexis, her voice still kind and soft.

"We are Weres and our blood doesn't taste good to them, and Isolt is far too kind to ever do such a thing."

Whether that was true or not she had no clue. For all she knew Were's blood could be a delicacy. Not really wanting to find out, in fear of Isolt's answer, she would let that bit of fear die down. If only to give Alexis a harmless white lie...it's a white lie if she doesn't know the truth right? Wanting to change the subject quickly, should either of them ask her how she knows such things, she gestured towards the living room where they could hopefully sit down and at least help make each other comfortable. Head would tilt in Isolt's direction as a comforting smile was given to the poor girl pointing towards the direction the woman requested to go.

"Of course you can head down the hallway to your left and there is a powder room. Don't worry about the towels I'll wash them and take all the time you need. When you are done head back over here to the living room."

Allowing Isolt to leave and have her privacy she would gesture once more to Alexis to follow her into the living room. Heading for the empty fireplace she'd throw in a couple of logs before turning on the gas lighting a long stick match and tossing it into the fireplace allowing a small fire to grow. Thinking perhaps Alexis would calm down should she feel the warm embrace of heat on this chilly cold night. Though really she should be the one wanting the fire far more because she was soaked to the bone. Lowering the heat slightly in a comfortable manner she'd head for her favorite easy chair sitting in it, looking over at Alexis. Her disfigured façade looking a bit softer and kinder as she wanted to settle the matter To a T.

"Alexis, she is very kind and she is going through a traumatizing phase...we must be careful with our words, okay? I think she's recently changed maybe a few days ago and I don't think she has anyone else."
