Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The last thing Kato expected after breaking the kiss with Edie was that look in her eyes. Their teasing hadn't really left him with any impression of it being more than simple raw attraction. However, there was something hidden there in the woman's eyes that Kato recognized and it indeed caused a moment of unsurety to roll in his chest. "I'm sure being Beta has gotten you used to having things go your way." His grasp on her loosened and was saved by any dwellings on the moment by the grumbling in his stomach. Yes, food.

Kato offered no resistance to being pulled to the kitchen, his gaze sweeping the house as they did so as if committing everything to memory. The man leaned against the countertop, noting the high-end modern getup of the kitchen though appeared less than interested as he watched Edie move away to dig about the fridge. He was unabashed as he eyed her rear-end while she did so. A sly grin slid across his features when Edie turned around to finally place the heated food in front of him and take her spot up on the counter beside him. "Thank you." He slid the plate closer and ate without complaint. Well, eating was perhaps a kind word as it was more like inhaling. Kato consumed much like a teenage boy both in volume and mannerisms, inhaling and not savoring a bite the same as a starving dog did. It wasn't to be outwardly rude or because his mother didn't raise him with manners but simply due to the fact of being a man who consumed a lot. The portion that Edie offered him wouldn't sustain him for very long but it would be enough to quiet his appetite in order to move on to...other things.

Few bites later and Kato was pushing the plate aside and refocusing on Edie at her question. "I told you, I was tracking those hunters. If you meant what I'm doing in this city-.." Kato rolled his shoulder slightly. "I'm just passing through. Everyone in my tribe back home leaves at some point to travel the world before coming back. All the elders have seen the world. My older brother returned two years ago and after hearing him talk about all the other places, I decided it was my turn to travel." Kato slowly slipped over to stand in front of Edie, his hands coming to rest on her knees as he pressed forward so he was then standing with her dangling legs on either side of his hips. "My brother spoke of a place that was green for as far as the eye could see, where you could walk for a whole day and find no end to in. He saw monuments of men who were considered Gods carved larger than buildings in a land made of sand and stone. There are people who have their houses on boats and live on the rivers. And a place where the ocean is so clear and blue that you can watch the fish swim beneath you."

His eyes were alight with what could only be described as excitement and wonder as he spoke. Though, as he spoke, his hands slid from her knees to slowly travel upwards and come to their previous resting spot on her hips. "I want to see all those things and more." Kato tightened his grip on her waist and pulled Edie forward more so she was on the edge with her front flush against his. In this position she was barely a head taller than him now. Though the subject of what had taken him from his homeland was the main topic right now, it was obvious that he hadn't been completely distracted from their earlier engagement. "Wouldn't you like to see it?"
