Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The woman was rather positive that everything about the faerie man in front of her was odd, the entirety of his demeanor making her feel rather annoyed by his very existence. Frost would owe her, she was certainly sure that whatever he had to do inside that building was not even remotely worth the effort she was having to put in to this. Having to act as though she was truly afraid of whatever imaginary thing was chasing her was beneath her. And yet here she, clinging to him and begging him to stay with her as though she was terrified. She was even playing up the imagined terror with a slight tremble as she clung to him. At his insistence that they would have to run should the imagined attackers come back, the girl reached up, batting her eyelashes as she touched her fingers flesh against the chest of the man that stood in front of her. "Yes, of course." She said smiling softly to him. "But I think that if that happens, you're strong enough to fight them off. I believe in you."

The man seemed entertained by the English accent of the woman, going on to mention Edward the Fourth in a way that made the girl tilt her head, annoyed by the lengths she would have to go to distract him. It was that that caused the girl to step in closer, her voice indicating the power she found so effective. It was a subtle lilt in her voice enough to stop the man mid-sentence. It was amusing to listen to the man stutter, the girl trying her best not to smirk at the way her power effected him. She loved that, loved the way that the persuasion she was so good at affected someone.

"I don't care," She kept the lilt in her voice, stepping in even closer to him at the notion that they were outdoors. And it was true. Edie hardly cared. She would seduce the man in the middle of a crowded shopping mall if it meant it would help Frost. Her fingers moved to twirl a finger in her companion's hair, smirking to herself. "Please, babe? Private, maybe?" She grinned, stepping back at the boy's mention that he might know somewhere. She moved, instead of taking the offered arm of the man, she slid her hand down to the boy's, lacing their fingers together. "Lead me?"

Later, she'd be disgusted with herself. Later, she'd curl up against Kato and apologize. But for now, her Alpha had given her an order to distract, and it was time she did that in the only way that she knew would work without a doubt. She followed the man, swinging their hands together in the way that a girl would when she was trying to flirt with him. It was the way she did so with Kato, the man that she so often curled up to at night the one she was thinking of in this moment. It was him she'd like to see, not this character â€" she realized now that she hadn't even asked of his name, nor had she given his â€" and yet, she was going to have to distract him.

She followed him into the small garden, knowing well that it would certainly work to distract the man. "Oh, this is perfect," She said happily, moving in once more to drag her fingers along the front of the man's shirt. Again, the power she loved so much crept through her voice as she met his eyes. "Now, we're going to stay here for awhile, okay? So you might as well get comfy."
