South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

The man was, for once, entirely and deeply asleep. With tomorrow as a day off and thus no chance of being phoned by the council for some early morning mission the man collapsed into bed with the intention of actually sleeping in and the idea that he'd bring Sera lunch at her store later in the day. Something the man had taken to doing if he was in the area for his own work. To think, the witch had hardly believed they'd last three weeks! Azrael rather assured he had proven to be an almost pleasant companion when he tried. Their new-found relationship status having seen the often irritable Hunter....relax. He was careful still, their dating hardly something he flaunted and yet the Council remained in the dark. He shifted lightly within his sleep the moment the wolf set foot in his apartment and yet as he rolled over onto his back that blackness pulled him under again once more. Azrael was rarely inclined to sleep so deeply as to not notice that cold nose pressing against his side, his features frowning slightly and yet still he failed to stir. It was not until those paws pressed upon his chest and too- that tongue proceeded to smother him in licks- that his golden gaze at last fluttered blurrily open. His sleep addled mind half believed it was Sera resting atop him, her lips caressing his skin with that warm, teasing touch that managed to stir a sleepy simper to his features. She rarely woke up him up for this on any of those nights she stayed over. At least, not this early. It was surely about one in the morning.

"Sera....that tickles."

There was slight amusement to his voice, his gaze attempting to blink some clarity into his vision, his mind rapidly beginning to realise Serafina had not stayed over last night. In fact, he hadn't seen her yesterday at all. The man was suddenly well and truly awake. Something was on him. Something heavy and furry and....wet with its tongue. His senses cleared almost on command, his gaze taking in the sight of that wolf head that seemed to float in the darkness above him, her jaws agape and tongue lolling between. The Hunter jolting backward in sudden surprise, his affinity humming to life, the weapon threatening to appear at his fingertips any moment before the realisation that he knew this wolf seemed to resign within him. His features shifted near instantly into a scowl, one hand swung at her with enough force to either knock her from him or force her to move as he sat up- shoving her roughly to the floor where she damn well belonged. God she had been licking him. Licking him! With her disgusting Were tongue. Who knew where that had been?!

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

His voice cut into that night air with every bit of harshness he could muster, the light beside his bed flicking on as his golden eyes narrowed upon her. Is this what this animal did with Sera? Had Raven decided that this somehow permitted her to be within his bedroom? He'd never liked the dog. He tolerated her for Sera. The Witch having promised him she was hardly that bad and now look what had happened! It was in his bedroom, assaulting him while he slept. As if boundaries meant nothing. Not that he supposed he was all that surprised. Were's were not all that intelligent and yet that was hardly an excuse. God he needed a shower now before he caught fucking rabies. His own internal ranting was halted only by the wolfs words and yet, rather than showing any true concern, the Hunter merely frowned. Eyeing the wolf with a clear mistrust and obvious dubiousness.

"Well she isn't damn well here. If she's not at home she probably went out. Did you try actually phoning her? God you creatures."

His hand reached for the phone beside his bed. Azrael scrolling through his contact list to her number before pressing it, the mobile lifted to his ear a moment later. The man surprised to find it ring out. That was...unusual. One hand lifted to run through the blonde of his hair. Azrael hitting the number again only to have it return to voicemail like before. A scowl settled readily on his features now, the man swinging out of bed, bare feet padding across the floor. Azrael hardly caring whether the wolf saw him in his boxer shorts and old shirt as he hit another number within his phone. This one picking up in only a matter of moments.

"Brett? It's Az. Did the Council have any raids tonight? Yeah? Where? Uh-huh, uh-huh. Alright. Do we have any witches? Yeah. Can you tell me the names? Alright, thanks. Nah, not what I'm looking for. I just had an idea is all, for a lead. Yeah always working, I know. Cya."

He hung up the phone easily, tossing it onto the bed now. If Sera wasn't at home and she hadn't been caught up in some council raid then...where was she? Hadn't the wolf said she kidnapped by dark hunters? If he had been it certainly hadn't been by the Council. There was something almost....relieving in that at least. Azrael having gone to truly great lengths to assure Serafina existed on no Council records or database if only to protect the both of them and yet that uncomfortable feeling in the pit of his stomach hardly seemed lessen with the knowledge. If the Council had her at least he would have known where she was. His gaze at last returning to the wolf.

"The Council doesn't have her. I called them then. Don't you have some sort of voodoo magic bond with her? Can't you find her? If you can't do that then why can't you track her scent? You're a dog after all."

His own affinity engaged rapidly then. Azrael little more than a blur for several moments before appearing before Raven once more, this time fully clothed, that hooded jacket pulled down to hide the weapons that lay beneath. He strode readily from the bedroom then, snatching his phone from the bed as he did to tuck into his pocket, the Hunter already heading for the front door- closing it behind the wolf the moment she was out. The night air was cold, biting against his skin and yet for now it hardly bothered him. His attention once more returned to his unlikely partner.

"Well? Unless you have an idea I'm going to have to go to her place and start from there. Can you find her or do I have too?"

Worry- it seemed- made the man irritable. The idea that something or someone had harmed his witch was rather agitating. If someone truly had kidnapped his companion he was assured that by the end of the evening they would regret their mistake. Insurmountably so.
