South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

There was a certain sort of familiarity about that look - those large, confused eyes, desperate for answers that were perhaps beyond his reach. He knew that feeling all too well. It was dreadful - something that he hardly wished upon perhaps even his worst of enemies, that is, if he had any. Did he? His thoughts shifted from the quiet ponderings that toyed with his mind to the fellow in front of him, almost taken back by the man's nearly blurted inquiry. "You must have had some night huh?" He questioned though his comment was more rhetorical than anything. After all, it wasn't every day that you encountered someone who had experienced quite nearly the same phenomenon, especially one that was so rare to begin with. "You're in Sacrosanct." Still, he remained patient and still where he was, not intending to leave the man until he could be certain that he was capable of returning safely to...well, somewhere. He was hardly surprised to the answers he had received, the earlier befuddlement within the man's eyes had suggested such an answer might be given. What he hadn't expected, however, was the fashion at which the man fell to his knees.

His eyebrows furrowed momentarily as he watched the fellow move to the comforting shadow of tree, seeking the sturdiness of the trunk. Slowly, Sterling approached him, squatting down in front of him with little concern for the fact that this man was a complete stranger. All Sterling knew is that he needed help and that was something he was entirely unable to deny - something he was always unable to deny...or so he thought? "It's going to be okay." He responded with a certain sort of firmness, even if he wasn't entirely certain of that himself. In a reassuring fashion, Sterling found himself reaching out, gingerly letting his hand rest upon the man's knee. "We'll find someone who can help you, okay? Do you have anything in your pockets? Maybe a wallet or something? Something that'll tell us a little bit more about you?" He reached up just enough for his hand to rub at the back of his neck, "I mean...I guess worse case you can always sleep on my couch till we figure something out - okay? Don't worry." He offered a small simper of encouragement as if the knowledge that at least the stranger would have a place to sleep would help with the foreign world he found himself in.
