Anacosta Heights

Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Kato Buhari

Kato was sure that if he didn't stop Edie's panicked movement that she would end up in another fit like she had in the field on training day. That had been his first experience seeing anyone having a panic attack. He didn't wish to witness that again. For a moment Kato was rooted to the spot on the bed before he slid off and took hold of her hands to regain her focus. He could only offer her the suggestion of researching before leaving as that just seemed far less confrontational than reminding her of the panic attack and not getting herself worked up like that. No, he wanted to redirect and soothe her panic, not bring the memories of her losing control.

He was glad when Edie relented and allowed him to redirect her from the packing. At first Kato thought he had succeeded and was about to guide her back to the bed until the woman took another leap to the left in her flighty process. "Buy a car? Cars are expensive Edie, we can rent one...or borrow one from Frost or the market I work at. Either way, those places aren't open until morning." Slowly and cautiously he explained the reason of just why buying a car wasn't exactly logical at this moment in time. Kato allowed Edie to lead him back to the bed, regarding her suspiciously when she paused to grab her laptop before flopping onto the bed. He kept quiet, grateful she had at least made it back on the bed. Kato propped himself up beside her, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her to lean back against his chest as he watched her fiddle with the electronic contraption. "We just got back from a world trip, let's keep this one small."

The African let out a big yawn as he leaned his head back against the headboard, his eyes drooping slightly. "I can go to Mr.Kasakoff in the morning and see if I can get an advance from him. It'll be enough for us to go away for the weekend somewhere within a few hours' drive but not a plane ride." He had never needed money quite so much in Africa as he was finding the necessity here in the States. It was grueling but now that he had Edie he was finding that he couldn't ignore the work world if he wanted to be able to provide things for her. Here in the States Kato had learned that boyfriends weren't graded in how well they could hunt, build a hut, or being able to hunt but instead on what they could afford to lavish on their girlfriends. Kato slowly forced his eyes open once more to glance at Edie, "Wouldn't Frost be upset if you left the pack again to go halfway across the world for a while anyways?" Perhaps he could use the leverage of her Alpha to sway her to stay close to home.
