Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sterling watched as that warm smile spread across his boyfriend's features at the sudden sight of him. The action was so small and yet, to witness that transition for a glum sort of worry to...this, was almost unexpected. His head shook ever so slightly as he moved further, his socked feet padded with a muffled sound against the start wood of the floor. "No, I don't mind." He commented as he reached forward for those grocery bags. He leaned forward in the process, gingerly intending to place a singular, innocent kiss at the corner of his cheek, only to find his lips meeting the near enthusiastic press of Henry's own. The action was surprising, considering how limited their physical displays of affection tended to be of late. He had tried, naturally, to return them back to how things were before Henry had turned into..well...what he was but each attempt had fallen drastically flat. It was as if his boyfriend had held no physical interest in him after that moment, those affectionate touches, those kisses...all of it had suffered to the point that the extent of that intimacy tended to be hugs and cuddles. This was definitely different, though not unwanted.

Although that questioning glimpse crossed his bright blue eyes, Sterling said nothing of that unexpected behavior as he pulled away from that kiss, instead merely taking that grocery bag from Henry's arms. He led the way towards that open kitchen, pausing at the counter to begin to unpile those groceries. The produce certainly looked good, the man already beginning to contemplate what could be made with those vegetables and herbs - at least, until he discovered the lamb shanks. The piece of meat was too good to be ruined by Henry's heavy hand, the man quite near monopolizing that dinner at the sight of that protein. The sound of Henry's laughter prompted a warm simper upon his own features as his head bobbed. "I think I can give up control of that." He jested, altogether trusting in Henry to at least manage those vegetables...somehow...maybe. It was only once the entirety of those bags were placed upon the counter that Sterling asked after the movie Henry had gotten for them. His eyebrow rose ever so slightly at the idea of a love story on top of it all. Frankly, if he didn't know better, this almost sounded like a date.

"It...sounds interesting." He commented, those brief blue eyes briefly settled upon his lover as Henry made his way towards the living room and the DVD player. His head shook ever so slightly before his gaze refocused upon that meat. He pulled those shanks from their wrappers, dedicated enough upon his task that he hardly noticed Henry pause behind him, at least, not until the man's arms wrapped around his figure. His head tilted to the side as Henry's head settled upon his shoulder, his lips tickling the skin of Sterling's neck. This....this was definitely atypical, even if Sterling had long since yearned for those very touches. "Henry....?" He inquired, his voice entirely soft, as if he was worried bringing attention to it might also ruin that moment. "Is everything okay?"
