Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

Chizue had kept to herself ever since that fateful night she had been taken from the airy happiness of Isolt's wedding. A part of her remained eternally paranoid that those men would return for her, even despite the little value they openly declared she had to them. Her poor petite frame had been little more than a plaything for them. She had been a burden to hold over Isolt's head whenever the woman denied them whatever they desired from her. She had, admittedly, avoided both her Supreme and Isolt's fiance. That guilt of merely leaving the redhead in their grasp by herself. Ultimately, in the end, it had worked out. Damon had saved her in ways that Chizue surely would have been able to. The sound of Damon's voice on the other side of the door had been enough to coax the young woman from the blissful comfort of her bed. Hesitantly, the woman reached her slender fingers out to undo the bolt on her door, her movements almost hesitant as she slowly pulled open the door to peak around the side of her solid front door.

The very sight of Damon upon her front porch produced a knot deep within her stomach. Her lips parted only to let a singular word fall from her lips. That greeting was particularly dismal, even for Chizue. Her deep chocolate eyes watched the way his lips twitched with the barest glimpse of smile. Had she upset him that much? Chizue watches as his mouth parted and yet, whatever words he might have offered her died upon his lips as Damon quite abruptly fell to his knees upon the porch. A glimpse of surprise crossed her features, the woman was entirely taken aback by the gesture much less the emotions that laced his voice as Damon spoke the thoughts that lingered so vehemently upon his mind. The sobs upon the usually unflappable Damon caused her to step back, those chocolate eyes almost large as she stared at him unblinkingly.

"I..." She started only before she stopped abruptly. Her head slowly shook from side to side. "It's my fault. I left her there." She spoke softly, her chocolate eyes slowly fell to the floor as her hand reached for her arm, rubbing at her skin. "Maybe...maybe if I hadn't then...they wouldn't have had time to..." She nibbled on her bottom lip before shaking her head again. Maybe what had happened to Isolt wouldn't have if she had gone to rescue her friend instead of simply attempting to escape herself. "I'm sorry." She uttered at last, even if Chizue was oblivious to the full depth of the depravity that Isolt herself had been through. All of it had been too much for all of them, it seemed. Slowly she pushed her door open further, hardly reaching out to the man and yet, still gesturing for him to join her inside. "Would...you like...to come in?" She offered, altogether expecting the answer to be 'no'.
