Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It was infuriating the amount that Edie wanted to kiss the man that stood in front of her. When they finally broke, the quiet 'damn you' that slipped out of her mouth was soft, gentle. A 'damn you' for making me feel like this. Later, she'd insult him again, she was sure of it. Later, she'd deny any feelings for the man. Tonight was like any other man she'd bed. But then again, it wasn't often that she liked another Were. It had been a game, originally, to see how many other supernaturals she could coax into bed with her. A game, just like any other thing she did. Nothing serious. Still, she complied as he led her out of the tent, her fingers even lacing with his as they walked. Stupid, traitor fingers. It made her heart flutter a bit in a way that was decidedly weak for her. No, she told herself, whatever she was feeling was only for tonight. Tomorrow, this stupid rhino would not matter to her. But for tonight... well, falling in love for a night wouldn't hurt, right?

Edie watched with mild curiosity as his attempted plan unfolded, the log swinging past him and into the tree. Edie waited until it was still before she stepped forward, her fingers coming to rest on the log just inches from him. It was an impressive plan, one that surely would have worked had she interjected, but that was something she would never, ever admit to him. Admitting she was wrong was never, ever on Edie's agenda. Instead, she merely switched the topic to the point of where the young man would be sleeping for the evening. It was clear by his desperation for pants that the man was the same way Edie had been until she'd stumbled into Frost. The girl may not have been able to offer him a permanent home, but at least she would share her bed for the evening. Her lip quirked up just slightly at his insistence that he could manage to share a bed with her. "I hog everything. I'm very, very selfish." Her voice was a tease, and she quickly reached out to grab his hand as she tugged him back to the clearing and her tent.

She was thankful, though she didn't mention it, that Kato was there to help her carry her things back to the pack home. She didn't have much, but it would have been certainly more than one trip, and coming back to the clearing where the Hunters had been would have certainly made her avoid the area. Getting the rest of her things would have been impossible, lest she ask Frost, and the idea of choosing which items were most important made her feel sick to her stomach. Still, she didn't offer up her gratitude as he carried her things to the residence that she shared with her pack. Neither of them spoke, Edie for once content to keep her mouth shut as they moved across the town.

"Yeah," Edie responded as she put her things down in the entryway. Frost would likely be annoyed by her dumping of her things, though Edie found she didn't care. She straightened, watching the way that the male looked around. She pushed her hair back, kicking off her shoes as she moved to follow him. "Frost is great. Being his Beta got me a decent room, too. Nice view. We all live here. We're small, but... it's great." She gave him a small smirk, the pack status of the small fox revealed to the man. It was his next comment, though, that caused her head to jerk up, eyes narrowing. "I told you not to call me that. And... and don't mention my..." She shifted on her feet, hating that the man had something on her that she preferred to keep a secret at the moment.

Instead, Edie merely stepped forward, her arms wrapping around his neck as she dragged him down into a kiss. Her body pressed into his, hoping to distract him from the knowledge that her Were form was such a tiny thing.
