South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

fading into oblivion

kissing death and loosing my breath
Despite the deer that crept so closely to such an intimate reunion, and despite the simple fact that Tamzin's entire existence was now dedicated to the eradication of her species, Serafina hardly wavered as she lead her once so closely held friend through the city she'd occupied the entirety of her life. Time had tore them apart and now she'd been give a glimpse at regaining something she'd thought she'd entirely lost. The young witch had so many questions - what happened to Tamzin? How did she get changed into one of them? And perhaps most importantly why? Yet, every time Serafina attempted to open her mouth, to form some coherent thought of the emotions racing through her breast - she failed. The words died on her sweet heart lips, causing her eyebrows to furrow together tightly in thought. She was oblivious to the way her companion's gaze lingered upon her feminine figure. She was oblivious to the twitch upon Tamzin's face - the inkling of the smile entirely lost upon the girl that dwelled so heavily on the past lost.

Her blue-green gaze darted momentarily to her periphery as her companion sped up to match her pace - the two women strode side by side in baited silence. Serafina's gaze remained steadfast upon the street in front of her, her hands shoved in the pockets of her jacket. Unlike her friend, she wasn't particularly concerned about what weakness she did or did not show. She wasn't concerned about fidgeting - she simply didn't know what to do in a situation like this to begin with. It was easier, she'd decided, to focus on where they were going rather then where they had come from. Although she still couldn't help the idle curiosity of who had put a hit out on her to begin with...a part of her wondered if Azzy new of this, if being hunted was going to become the norm until whatever contract the dark hunters had against her was fulfilled with her death. It was a harrowing thought and really not much better then the ones that'd come before it of her past. Thankfully, Serafina was interrupted from wandering down this avenue by the sound of her once friend's voice.

The young witch glanced upwards, her eyes immediately falling upon Tamzin as she paused for just a moment. Serafina shrugged briefly, "So do you. I guess that's what happens when we grow up huh?" There was something that was intensely different about her firmed, something Serafina had caught onto immediately. Tamzin was far more uptight and guarded then they had ever been as children. Back then they'd run the streets with a certain kind of 'do-not-care' attitude. Now, however, her friend seemed to care perhaps too much. Her demeanor was wound perhaps as tightly as her hair. "Here it is." She commented, turning off the main side walk to lead her friend into a small bar tucked in the corner ally way. At the very least they could discuss all that had changed with a glass in hand and alcohol running through their systems. Maybe then it would make a difference.
