South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Sterling had been in the city for nearly a month after what he had begun to call 'the incident'. They had suggested that he stay with his current job in the high class apartment he had found himself within but it all felt foreign to him, picking up an old life he didn't remember. And so, Sterling had moved. It was simple as that to him. For once he had no ties to anywhere - to anyone. it was perhaps as liberating as it was terrifying. Still, somehow he had made it work. He'd found a shitty apartment somewhere on the western side of the city and was attempting to find work as a chef with a resume that he scarcely remembered. Getting back on his feet was frankly harder than Sterling had anticipated. Still, he had surprisingly little difficulty with the meager life he led, hardly as concerned with the lack of bills in his pocket as he perhaps should have been. Instead of frequenting the bars or engaging in other pricey hobbies, the male had taken to the wandering of his city, getting to know the lay of the land all over again. It was that desire to find his place in the world that had brought him to the southern side of the city, an area he had not yet explored.

In truth, the young man was quite ecstatic to find the well manicured park amongst the suburban houses. It provided a much needed touch of greenery in the otherwise drab warehouse district that he resided in. Sterling hadn't realized how much he had enjoyed the wildlife - the plants. They were an aspect that he had forgotten, he supposed, along with everything else. Still, he could hardly stop himself from admiring the changing colors of the leaves or from touching the silken petals from the few flowers that still existed so in the middle of autumn. Sterling was only just beginning to muse on the notion of perhaps starting his own little garden within the emptiness of his flat when the sound of a clearing of a throat captured his attention. He turned, his eyebrow raising ever so slightly as he eyed the figure in front of him, noting the cigarette in his mouth to the disheveled appearance. His head tilted to the side at the man's inquiry though he was hardly perturbed. Drugs had crossed his mind, right along side with alcohol but it wasn't his place to inquire of either which one.

"You're in Hyde Park on the Southern part of town." He responded, pausing for a moment to consider the man in front of him before questioning, "Do you...have a home to return to? Do you know where it is?" After all, if the man scarcely knew where he was, it wasn't a wide leap to assume he too might have difficulty remembering where his own home was. There was no harm in asking, at any rate, the least he could do was be told to fuck off.
