South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

When Edie had agreed to go to Africa with Kato, she'd meant it whole-heartedly. She just, admittedly, had not expected him to have the preparations ready so quickly. It had seen within days that there were arrangements made, and within a week or two, it was time to go. She'd disagreed with Kato's suggestion to tell Frost with a note, instead actually telling the blonde Alpha of hers. She'd left no room for argument, and if he was upset, at least his apathy didn't quite show it. She didn't say goodbye to Claire or Calliel, instead assuring herself that there was no reason to. She'd be back shortly, there was no reason to worry about not being there. Perhaps the only thing that had caused the brunette to frown was that they would be making their trek by ship.

She'd groaned about it when she'd seen the ship, having remembered her own venture to Sacrosanct from England. She'd been able to afford a plane ticket that would get her from Yorkshire to London, but that was about the extent of her funds. The rest had been spent traveling either by train or by boat. Not the pleasant journey. But at least, she didn't have motion sickness. She felt terrible for her companion, spending the journey below the docks with him in their cabin room. She'd extended her healing power to him - which he had thanked her for, even if it didn't help - and had merely been reduced to putting cool cloths on his forehead. She had expected they would use their massive amounts of alone time doing what they did best, but instead Kato had proven to be entirely too ill for that.

Like her companion, she was relieved the moment that they had set foot on solid ground, though for very different reasons. She couldn't stand being cooped up for any extended period of time, and she'd felt as though the restlessness was about to burst through her bones. The instant that they'd been docked the girl had thrown herself into running short laps around Kato, oblivious as to why he was digging through their pack. It was only when he plopped the sunhat on Edie's head did she still for longer than a moment, presenting her boyfriend with a scowl. "I'm a Fennec Fox, you know. We are from Africa. Northern Africa... but still. And I've never been there, either. But it's in my blood." Never before had her English accent been so prominent as when she was countering him in the moment. It was enough to cause a small scowl to feature on her lips, crossing her arms defiantly against her chest. "I'm sure I'll be fine. It's not that hot."

Still, she didn't protest or remove the hat, quite relieved for the shade it offered her. Despite her words, it was hot, and was going to be miserable. She reached out, taking his hand as they walked so that they wouldn't get separated from each other. Her gaze continued to look around, eyeing the surroundings as they walked. It was overwhelming, just as it had been overwhelming when she'd gone to Sacrosanct, but at least she had Kato by her side. Nothing would happen to her with Kato here. He'd proven more than once to be her protector, and he'd sworn that it would be the same here. The girl was, however, aware of the natives and the way they looked at her, each time the reaction causing her to shift closer into her boyfriend's side, or squeeze his hand for a bit of reassurance. By the time he finally spoke again, the woman was exhausted, slumping slightly forward in an effort to escape the heat. "I'm fine," She reassured him, letting out a jagged breath. "How far is the reserve, exactly?" Much more of this and she would be a mess before they got to meet his family.

It was the notion of shifting that caused the girl to shift uncomfortably, biting her lip. "Yeah, of course," She said weakly, hardly wanting to show off her were form. It was nothing compared to his, and she was positive she would get stepped on within minutes. Still, she didn't disagree, instead nodding firmly to his questioning of whether or not she needed water. "Yes please," She paused, glad for a break. She reached out, taking the water that was offered to her and drinking it readily. The girl was exhausted, hardly able to keep herself on foot, and yet she still smiled at him. It was worth it, really, to be here with him. "I'm fine, I promise. Talk to me, so I don't fall over? I take it back, it's atrociously hot."
