Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

It was too difficult for her to calm her racing heart, the effects of the drug having made her nearly delirious with panic and anxiety. She was convinced, then, that he would grow to hate her. That her entire relationship would fall to shambles and she would be left with nothing. He might assure her that he would never hate her, but she doubted she could hold him to that. One day he'd find out what kind of person she truly was, and when that moment came she would never see him again. After all, how many times had Beck held her so tight and spoke those words about what kind of girl she was? Worthless. Awful. A whore. Over and over again he'd reassured her that the only person that would ever love her was him. That he was doing her a favor even by loving her, because he could do so. much. better.

Having something else to focus on, for her fractured state to latch on to, was a blessing. The anxiety seemed to lessen and in its place was a bubbling excitement and need to move. She heard the breath of surprise leave his lips as she bounded from his arms and into the closet. She expected him to sit up, to begin to pack the clothes that he kept within her bedroom as well. In fact, she'd just opened her mouth to further on that when he sat up. Her name on his lips was not what she had anticipated. Not that quiet, confused tone. She heard him ask for her to stop, and yet she made no motion to as she moved over to her drawers to dig out what clothing she would take on the trip. She hardly noticed as he crossed the room, pausing only when he took her hands and forced her to look up at him. "Slow? Why?" She questioned, fully confused as to why he wanted her to stop. Edie never did anything slow. She bounded into life as though the moment would slip away from her if she didn't embrace it so fully.

"Okay," She whispered, her eyes following him as he closed her suitcase. She knew his words were meant to calm her, but she couldn't help but note the confused tone in his voice. "I'm fine," She said quietly as he spoke, even though her heart was quickly being squeezed with that ache of anxiety that she'd thought she had distracted herself with. "If we leave now we'll beat the morning traffic," She said quickly, though she let herself take a breath at the notion that he wanted her within his arms. Yes, yes that sounded like a good idea didn't it? "Okay babe," She whispered, allowing his words to slow her down. "But I like aimlessly driving around..." She looked up at him quickly, a grin on her features. "Oh! Before we go, we should go buy a car. I don't have a car. If we're going to drive somewhere, I need a car. Let's do that." She nodded.

She moved quickly, tugging him towards the bed. She stopped briefly at her desk, lifting her laptop off the charger before she did so. She flopped on the bed easily, waiting for him to settle beside her before she opened it up. "Let's research where we want to go?" She glanced over at him, hoping that this would be enough slowing down to placate his worry. "You said beach. We could do a beach. We could go anywhere in the world though. Where have you always wanted to visit?"
