Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
It was right THERE! Just out of reach! But just....so close! Come on! A little further! Just...make a wind come and move the branch a little or something! DIVINE PROVIDENCE! COME ON. Stretch, stretch, streeeccccch. OH GAWD VOICE. WHERE WAS IT FROM WHAT WAS IT DOING HIDE HIDE! Abigail scurried as quick as those wobbling legs could take her to the other side of the tree, attempting to hide from that voice that appeared OUT OF THIN AIR. This was too much for her! Her small hazel eyes watched with curiosity as that small child began to circle to her side of the tree and immediately, Abigail sent herself propelling backwards - at least, as much as she could before she tripped over her own two feet and landed on the ground sprawled out. Ooph. She tried to right herself as quickly as possible though, which was equally as challenging as moving backwards in the first place and yet, her gaze remained quite steady upon the child as she stepped up onto the seat of the swing. Didn't she know that was dangerous? What if her divine wind decided to blow now and she fell off?! Abigail slowly stepped forward, one paw reaching out to the child as if to wordlessly tell her not to do this only for those small beady eyes to fall upon the girl's hand. APPLE!

A series of chirping squeaks immediately left her lips as the girl pulled it from it's place upon the tree before she refound her footing upon the ground. This wasn't quite the divine providence Abigail was hoping for but, it could perhaps have been even better then what she had expected. The sight of that apple drew the entirety of Abigail's gaze and slowly she rose to her back feet, her paws reaching out for that apple until....bam. It was gone. Wait, what? A baffled squeak left her lips as the girl slowly fell back down to all four paws. Her lips parted only to echo an almost yowling call in her infinite sorrow. The apple was gone. Stolen from her! What a cruel twist of fate! What a tyrant this child was! What a horrible, horrible being! In fact, it was in this neverending sadness that Abigail almost missed that offered promise. Glow...like a rainbow? And then she'd get her apple? Maybe? Hm....that was a little difficult.

She knew well enough she was more than capable of glowing, after all, it was her bestest trait! She could change colors! But she'd never tried to be all the colors at once. Still, she was willing to try, her eyes squinted close in concentration, that bright cyan hue covered her form before slowly fading to a soft bright red. For a moment, it remained exactly that and then...? Then in a rapid fluctuation of color her hue began to change, first all red to then all orange and all yellow and down the colors of the rainbow with an effect that was almost more akin to a strobe light then really occupying all colors at once. It was so much work! So much concentration! And by the time she'd reached purple, the little red panda flopped over from color overload. Occupying all colors at once, it would seem, was just too much to ask. She was dying, she was sure, from no apple, from too much colorificness. From divine cruelty. Woe was her. It was all over! The world was ending! And with that thought, her mouth parted for that little tongue to loll out more akin to a dog then the panda she was.
